| Hello, Old Friend.Well, It has been 2 years since I have posted on here. Some people have mentioned they brought back xanga so I thought, "What the hell? Why not post again?".
A lot has happened in 2 years, but if you are reading this chances are you know what has happened so no need to go into any detail.
This summer has simply flew by. Just yesterday it seems like summer had just begun and here I sit with only one weekend of mainstage and one week of summer stage left. In two weeks I'll be back in State College getting ready for the fall semester of my sophomore year of college. Crazy. Where has my life gone? Returning to school is bittersweet, I want to go back, but at the same time I feel I have yet to enjoy my summer "vacation". However, I feel better about not having a vacation because my parents just booked a 10-day trip to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios over winter break. But, we are going down on December 30th so I won't be home to spend my birthday with my friends as I have enjoyed doing the past few years...that's really the only down side.
Well that's my life currently, Summer Stage all day and all night... However, I will miss "My Favorite Year" when it is over because mainstage is always an amazing experience.
That's all for now, I have to get ready to go to Cabaret rehearsal.

| So Jospeh is over, but it was an amazing experience! I met so many wonderful people and grew closer to others! I'll never forget all the great times! But i still have one more!

| John Williams and My Grad Project CabaretPlease come out and support John Williams and my (John Schmidt) Cabaret on Friday June 9th at 7pm it is our Graduation Project
The Cabaret is entitled "Life Is A Cabaret" and it features many Shooting Stars, Summer Stagers and Upper Darby Students. The Cast is: Peter Lam, Jake Ahlquist, Bryan Pipe, Sean McElwee, Dan Matarazzo, Liz Hartigan, Diana Dow, Carey Shunskis, Megan Rucidlo, Meghan Dietzler, Marisa Leo and Sara Mingle
Donations will be collected at the door and concessions will be sold - all proceeds benefit Fox Chase Cancer Center and Drexel Hill Baptist Church
The Cabaret takes place on (this) Friday, June 9, 2006 at 7pm at Drexel Hill Baptist Church (John W's Church) located at State Rd. and Childs Ave. - Drexel Hill, PA - 19026
We would greatly appreciate if you came and supported us, we worked very hard for this night and are banking that people are gonna come and we have been spreading the word as best as possible so if you can come please come! And also PLEASE spread the word and get people to come! It's for a great cause and you will be helping two fellow performers/friends!

| DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!So tomorrow the UD Marching Royals are going to DISNEY WORLD!!!!! Ahhhh i'm so excited, but it still hasn't hit me that tomorrow i will be in the beautiful Florida sunshine riding Rock N' Roller Coaster or Tower of Tower or Space Mountain or Splash Mountain, it's surreal! I am soooooo excited!!!!!!!! I still have to finish shopping, i need to get new sneakers, then i will be done packing!
I am not excited for rehearsal tonight however....
I was thinking i have been really lucky over the past few years as far as trips are concerned:
Freshman Year: New York City (twice) and Universal Studios Florida
Summer After Freshman Year: Ocean City, NJ, New York City
Sophomore Year: Busch Gardens, Williamsburg and New York City
Summer After Sophomore Year: New York City (twice), Disney World
Junior Year: California, Disney World, Washington D.C. (twice), New York City
I can't complain, sorry i didnt mean for that to rub it in, it was just me thinking and being grateful...
Well everyone have an awesome Spring Break and a very Happy Easter!!!!!!!

| Grad Project - Cabaret~Attention All Singers~
Me and John Williams are doing a cabaret for our Gad Project entitled: Life Is a Cabaret It is a night of fun, laughter and music! The cabaret is of hit songs from Broadway Musicals!!!!!
There will be an informational meeting and audition for Upper Darby High Schoolers on Thursday March 30, 2006 @ 3pm after school and on Friday March 31, 2006 @ 3pm after school both will be held in the Choir Room (you only need to come to one day)
Auditions songs will be taught to anyone who comes to audition. There is a Soprano, Alto/Belter, Tenor and Baritone audition piece. If anyone has a specific song they would like to sing please feel free to bring it, we would be glad to hear it! If you cannot make the meetings and still want to be a part of the Cabaret, talk to either John or Myself and we’ll make arrangements!
Please come out and help us by being a part of it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank You!!!!!!

To any non upper darby ppl reading this (Shooting Stars) leave me a comment if you are interested in being a part of this and we may be able to work something out so you can be a part of this awesome night!
