Me So Hungry!

I think I am about to pass out. It took me 3 tries to get my password right to even log in to distract myself from how hungry I am. Mike and I are going to get indian buffet for lunch and I want to be able to get my money's worth, damnit! My body is used to having consumed about 1000 calories by this time of day.

Oh yeah, I just remembered the real reason I was going to write a blog. I GOT TICKETS TO SEE THE CURE JUNE 4th. This basically fulfills my only goal of for adult life.

AHHH....must not eat anything...

Never Enough

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed a ton of new variations of classic types of candy having come out in the past few years?  How many kinds of M&M's are out there now?  Anyway, I was contemplating these questions as I searched for a mid-night snack last night at the Circle K across the street.  And, I think it is my duty, as a chocolate lover, to explore all of the new and exciting kinds of candy that have been released in recent years.

Last night I finally decided to try out the new Reese's Whipped candy bar.  Reese's peanut butter cups are definitely a classic candy, although I usually can't eat more than one without my stomach starting to churn and feel "off".  So, I thought the "lighter" version might suit me better.  In my opinion, what makes peanut butter cups so awesome is the subtle texture of the peanut butter, and the combination of the chocolate pointy circumference of the cup. Unfortunately the "whipped" version had neither.  In fact, it was just like sugary densely packed chalk.  Blech.

Therefore, I must give it a thumbs-down.  Stick with the original.

Any suggestions for next week's review?  Possible candidates include: chocolate skittles, pb twix, butterfinger wafer thingy.  I will also try to incorporate beer pairings in future posts.

I'm Scared!

I swear I just heard a cat sneeze in my apartment.  Could it be the ghost of Bibbity haunting me for giving away her kittens in the Wal-Mart parking lot?
