| Last TrimesterWell i'm in the last stretch of the pregancy. Virginia never lays still. She is constantly moving around, kicking, jumping, pushing.
We had our first baby shower on Friday at work. It was thrown by the people at work and it was amazing how many drug reps were able to come. I felt so blessed.
I went to the Dr. on Thursday and found out that there is a very good chance I have gestational diabetes. I had to do a 3 1/2 hour glucose test on Friday and that was no fun at all. They had to draw blood from me every hour for three hours. My arms hurt so bad. I find out the results on Monday. I am kind of nervous because every female on my mom's side has died from diabetes. The didn't find out that they had it until they were in their upper fifites so I thought I had another good 30 years before I had diabetes. | | |
| It's a girl!We found out yesterday we are having a girl. Virginia Claire Boling.
It was such a shock to hear that we were having a girl because we were both so sure it was a boy. This whole time were were calling her a him. In fact John told Steev Sunday that we was going to be looking at a little penis on Thursday. We are very excited about having a girl though. Now my mom and aunt can stop bugging me about what colors to buy. | | |

| Gonna be a mom!Yep, gonna be a mom. John and I will be having a baby end of January - first of Febuary. We are so excited. We are 10 weeks into it right now. We get to hear the heartbeat on Monday, a pretty amazing birthday present to myself. John and I closed on our house yesterday. But the papers have to go to KC and then Texas for the owners to sign so we don't get to move in until Thursday or Friday. We are excited to move...about stinking time! And it is perfect timing so that we can have a few months to settle in before bringing someone new into the house. | | |
| John and I are on vacation this week and it has been so nice! We have been antiquing and spending time with his family. I got a McCoy cookie jar today for $14. I am so excited!! (Trust me it was a great deal). John's dad is officially retired from teaching today so we are celebrating by grilling out. The food smells so good. The day John and I left town we found out that it was Weston Powell that was the one missing from the river. I just still can't believe it. Of all kids that boy was one of the very few that I got a long with. My prayers are out to his family. I wish I could have been there to help search for him. Please pray for his family and friends. | | |
