| Jeez... Almost two months since I updated. That's a really long time but I believe I've had even longer absences in the past. Anyway...
Since my last entry, school is over! Only two more semesters left to go until graduation! Its beginning to freak me out. Well the best part of school being over is that its just 4 more days until the BEACH!!! To make it even better, Tom is going to be there with me! We rented a beach house for the week which is only 1.5 blocks from the Stone Harbor beach with a second floor balcony that you can see the ocean with! Its going to be so much fun and incredibly romantic. Tom and I will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary this Sunday!!! Its so crazy to think that we've been together that long, and its been better than ever. I got him the best presents too, they are just exactly made for him. 
Thats pretty much the excitement of the week for now.

| Alright, so my 21st birthday wasn't that bad. Mom made it a family day and that made it so much better. The beach was goregous and the day was beautiful. I really did enjoy myself. But alas, no alcohol! (And Chris, thank you for your friendship when I was at La Roche last year. I'm SO glad that you got to be my date for Revenge of the Sith!)
Easter with Tom's family was nice as always. There was even an easter egg hunt!  I don't know why I'm addicted to doing easter egg hunts... 
Easter with my family was great and Tom said that he enjoyed himself. But we had awful weather that weekend and we didn't do EITHER procession! I've never had that happen as long as I can remember. So that was the only downer. 
But hey, I did something I was rather proud of yesterday. One of my friends recommended this bar in Spring Grove and even offered me a free drink! So what the hell, it was time to really celebrate my birthday. I can't believe that I went into a bar alone. My friend works at the bar and I freaking scared him, lol. But his family owns the resturant so I chit-chatted with family friends. There were some nice people there! Yeah they probably were drunk, but hey, at least they were happy drunks! Anyway...everyone was amazing and I had the GREATEST time! I got two drinks for free and $6 because they overheard me telling someone that I just turned 21. F-ing right. His sisters are hysterical and his mom is a real sweetheart. They treated me to two sodas and a Mike-arita (Which is really good by the way). His family was just thrilled that he had a friend that was a girl (He's terribly shy). So anyway, I was there from 8 p.m. till 2 a.m.! And I loved every minute of it. I am definetely going back!

| Well...the birthday is already off to an awful start. My dad had the perfect idea of taking me down to the beach for the day, and I really wanted to bring Tom. But of course...no he can't come because he has to work Saturday, not Friday or Sunday, Saturday. His mom won't let him call in "sick" cause she thinks he'll get fired. Bull to that I say. He has paid sick days to use when he needs them! Besides, he's 20 years old and he can do whatever he wants. I stopped listening to my mom all the time when I was 18. I make my own choices, I make my own mistakes. Yes I would feel really bad if he did get fired, but they would have NO grounds on which to fire him for using a sick day. My dad uses them all the time (he rarely gets sick). He even has used them a few days in a row. No one asked any questions, those are his paid sick days that he has earned, and if he doesn't use them by the end of the year they expire. Its just one day... I used to call in at least 3 times a month at Boscovs' saying that I was ill. I was only part time so I got no sick days and I wasn't fired.
So now I don't feel like going at all. I mean come on, telling everyone that you hung out with your parents for your 21st birthday...? That is so incredibly lame. I have never gotten to do something fun on the date of my birthday. All because of Western Easter. (We celebrate Easter after Passover. Christ ate the Last Supper during Passover, so how could He die and resurect before He even ate it?) So this weekend is just my Palm Sunday. But anyway... It would be nice to do something special on my birthday. Tom took next weekend off so he could come to Pascha services with me. So there is no way we can have a romantic beach day next weekend. Because I have to have classes on my Good Friday from 8 a.m. till 3 p.m. Then church is at 7 p.m. Friday night, 10 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. Saturday. And that midnight service lasts a good 3 hours so we'll be sleeping in on Sunday.
So here I am, not even sure if I'll get to see Tom at all until next weekend. Mom wanted to have my birthday dinner tonight, since they were planning on doing something tomorrow. So cake and presents would be tonight. Tom probably can't even come to that. I was all alone last year on my birthday... I would really love to spend this birthday with someone special. I mean I'll never turn 21 again. Yeah...I know its a stretch... -Sigh- I hate babbling on like this, I don't want to be selfish. So I'm not mad at Tom, I'm mad at his work (and probably mom, but she's so sweet).  I know Tom already gave me a gift (which he really shouldn't have done because he needs the money to pay bills), but to do something special together would be the greatest gift of all (and free too!).

| Alright so it has been a week since I updated. As usual, life is rather bland. I really hope to spice it up with my birthday!
Tom certainly make the week more interesting. He visited Tuesday night for an early "birthday party" with just the two of us. It was so cutely romantic too, he had it all planned out. I also got my present early, a really really pretty ring, suited just for me! He always had such good taste. 
Rather fun news, not much, but it left me happy. I sold over $40 worth of my jewelry pieces in one day! Of course I still have plenty and I mean plenty of pieces left. I'm pretty much making up for all the sold things in my free time. Not that I mind it. LOL.
So anyway, next time I update it will be about my birthday weekend. I'm turning 21 so it had better be damn good!
