I am tired and I just got off work and I have to be back at 3 to work again.  BUT I will say this, I love Veronica Barnes, she's the best.

I know it is always best to do what's right, but sometimes it is really hard.  Today I went with a friend to Starbucks and I was opening the passenger side and the wind hit the car door and swung it back hitting the door really hard to the car next to me.  I pulled it away and noticed that it had left a huge white scratch on the door.  Well I felt terrible so I went in to try to find the owner of the car I hit.  Well the person ended up being the manager there, so we went out there so she could look at it.  Welp I told her I don't think I took the paint off and it would probably buff out, but to call me if it needed to be fixed and I would pay for it.  Well now I have all these thoughts on what if it costs more than I can pay to fix it.  Well I guess I will have to see.  I talked to my Dad about it later on and he laughed a little and said "well Jenni haven't you ever heard the saying 'there are no good deeds left unpunished'?"  Well I hadn't heard it and it made me kind of wish I wouldn't have said anything, but that would have been wrong.

My jobs are going well, working at the Y is a lot different than the group home so its a nice change when I get to work there.  ALSO I get Tuesdays and Thursdays off, so now I can go to chapel and go home and relax.  I feel like I am constantly moving.  I don't mind so much because I like being busy and I like having things to do.

I really want to go to haunted houses, I know its silly but I love them!  I also want to go to KC and go to the opera.  I was told that students tickets are only 10 dollars, and I have never been.

I can't remember the last time I "blogged" so we shall see if I actually keep up with it.

Love,

Jenni

So get this.  I finally get to go home after being away since Christmas, and I end up getting sick.  When I say sick, I'm talking about really sick.  I have bad ear infections in both my ears, pink eye in both of my eyes and bronchitis.  I have two days left at home and I will be stuck at home in bed.  This bites.

So time flies when you are working all of the time.  Work is going well.  I love the fact that I can spend time with the people I work for.  For those who don't know I work with the mentally disabled.  There are eight people that live at the home.  This job has been a great learning experience so far.  I have never done work in group homes or ISL before.  A lot of people do not know how I could handle a job like this. Basically I tell them that I love the clients and if I wasn't helping them no one else would.  This job has really helped me with my patience that is for sure.  Its hard to be say doing laundry or cooking dinner and having to one or two of the clients screaming in your face.  I love them though and i feel really blessed to be able to work with them.

On another note I get to go home in 2 weeks to see my family, woohoo! I haven't been home since December and I can't wait to get back to the city.  Also, I miss my dogs, isn't that sad?

Welp have to get ready for class, but love to all!
