I havn't touched this thing in soooo long!  So I'm a conformist just like Andrew Li.  I just made a my space.
http://www.myspace.com/j_li
Although I did hold out much longer than he did.  I know I know...not to worry, I'm still a loyal xanga user.  Who says this has to be a zero-sum game where using myspace has to be at the expense of xanga?  *defense mechanisms in action!*

So...quarterly update time!  YES!!  I'm finally on holiday!  I thought this quarter would NEVER ever ever end.  I also thought I failed school.  I told my mom, "I think I'm failing school."  She nonchalantly replied, "It's OK."  haha.  But no no, I was pleasantly surprised with my results.  YIPPEEE!!  I'll enjoy my break while it lasts because I'll be facing my biggest challanges next quarter.  I'm extremely apprehensive about accounting 225, given I didn't take 215 at UW.  Chinese will be no less arduous from last quarter.  I'm most concerned about my time management skills.  I scored an internship that's located downtown.  Very excited, but I've never worked before!  Also, the Chinese calendar told me I have to beware of my safety this year.  So I must carry pepper spray with me to defend myself from the scary dudes at the bus stop.  I'll also trust my fortune cookie, it said a friend will be important to me in my forthcoming success.  woo hoo.

Now I'm back in S.F. with the fam.  Crazy as usual.  Eating constantly as usual.  I also went shopping for 3 days in a row downtown in Union Square.  ^_^*  It's like war.  The commercialization of Christmas amazes me.  HO HO HO, presents for me!  Too much occured in the past two months to sum up in one xanga entry.  If I feel like it, I'll update more.  If not, please give me a holla on my celly telly where you can interrogate me.  I would be very pleased to speak with you.

Classic American hegemony.

As this summer comes to an end, I would have to say it was one of the better summers of my life.  It was a time of personal growth (perhaps physical, vertical, growth as well), a time with my dear parents, a time of tranquility in the comforts of my home now in San Francisco.  Not only did I get to explore that amazing city, but I had the opportunity to spend an entire summer with my lovely, sweet sister.  It was the longest span of time we have ever spent together in our lives and I truely treasure those moments.  I say moments, rather than memories, because I believe memories can fade.  Moments, however, can be so alive.  Highlights of a few of my favorite moments this summer are:
  • Trip to Hawaii
  • UC Berkeley Summer School
  • Political Event with Congressman Mike Honda
  • Camping (real camping!)
  • White water rafting
  • Ferry Ride to Sausalito
  • Rachael Yamagata Concert
  • San Francisco Symphony
  • Margaret Cho
  • Derek and Karen's visit
  • Golfing
  • Golden Gate Park
  • Japanese Tea Garden
  • Preview of De Young Museum
  • Meeting new friends
  • Reading
  • Learning Nocturne in E Flat Major
  • Manis and Pedis
  • Pier 39 (3x)
  • Merry Mary and her "pole of death"
  • S.F. Federal Reserve Tour
  • Farmer's Market @ Ferry Building
  • Eating
  • Eating
  • Eating
  • Eating
  • Eating
  • Eating
I suppose all good things must come to an end right?!  *sniffle sniffle*  Vacation mode is not acceptable anymore and I am ready to tackle all the obstacles ahead this academic year!  I have many goals and plans, and I hope they will materialize.  First day of school tomorrow as a sopHOmore.  I'm vaccilating between my rolly bag or regular backpack for the first day.  We'll see...school is fun!  Yay!

My oh my!  I havn't updated in ages!  From my memorable trip to paradise and great companionship with Karen and Derek in S.F., I'd have to say these past few weeks have been spectacular!  AND, I'm going camping and white water rafting this weekend!  Yes, I'm sure you're laughing your ass off right now.  I know, me?  camping?  The only camping I have ever experienced was in a hotel room.  Not to worry, I'll be well equipped with my floaty wings.

I've digressed...back to Hawaii.  Warning!  Long picture post!

I love Ursula!

My bestest friend was kind enough to let me stay at her house for the first few nights despite her hectic work/school schedule.  ^_^

I love Mr. Mazik!

He's the sweetest, wittiest, and kindest man.  He also has a nice tummy to touch.

I love Cassie & Brett & M.C. & Nick!

Since I am the asian persuasian, my powerful influence has scored the UW 4 new amazing students next year.  I had fun at the bowling alley the first night.  So much fun that my cheeks hurt from laughing.

I love Kyle

!!!!!!

Kyle's 3 hr daily workouts has earned him the hardest, biggest, man boobs ever.  I ran up to him and gave him a huge hug and his chest hit my bosom and I screamed out in excruciating pain.  Thanks Kyle for letting me stay over a night.  Only we can talk nonstop till we can't stay awake anymore and only we will see a Monday Morning Mommy Movie Matinee where the lights are turned on half way and babies are allowed to cry.  =P

I love my golf girls

!!!!!!

I'm doing the 3-D loser sign.  We decided to eat breakfast together at a pancake house.  This rare meeting occured at 8:30 AM!!!  (WTH?!)

I love being ganster.

The infamous MHS golf team.  The infamous joke I made up:  Q: How many golf balls are in your golf bag??  A: FORE!  hahaha!!!

I love Ms. Laura!!!!

Ms. Laura was my piano teacher.  She's my mentor and friend.  And that's a real massive moon cake.

Nick is adorable.

Hawaiian sea turtles (honu) swim to shore to regulate their body temperature and to aid in digestion.

I love lamp!  (anchorman)

The specie Michael Ching swims to shore to run away from Jen Li. =(

I love please do not touch the turtles signs.

A man was holding the sign and regulating all the tourists from harrassing the turltes.  So i kindly asked him to take a pic for me and he was like, "hold the sign!"  After taking the pic, I thanked him profusely and he began to give me a stack of flyers about turtles.  Then he said I had potential to become a marine biologist.  HAHAHA, i sure fooled him, I can't even swim.

I raped Michael Ching.

I merely rubbed sunscreen all over his back...

I love my uni-boob.

I instructed Nick to give me boobs.  He gave me a boob.  I guess one is better than none.

I don't love it!

Unsatisfied with the results of my breast augmentation, he proceeded to move the entire boob down to my tummy.  Bad boy, go to jail.

I love Nick & Richard!

Just me & the boys, and M.C., at Lani Beach in the North Shore.

I love the sun.

This is post-card worthy.

I love Mrs. Toyota!!!

I was prez of Leo Club and she was my awesome advisor.  This is the woman that has taught me altruism. <3

I love Ryan!!!!!

Another day at the beach.  This time at Waimea Bay.  Don't we look cute?!

Smells like FOB!

Konnichiwa.

Inverted cat whiskers.

I am a nap-aholic.  I went shopping for 7 hours (I could be a shopaholic too)  and I tried to resist taking a nap, but I failed.  I was practicing piano and I collapsed on the bed 2 ft away from me.  -_-  My sleeping pattern is gonna be all screwed up now especially with the time zone difference when I get to Hawaii.  Africaneez.  (I'm using my Sus part of the brain)  It's 2:30 am, bored, and not soporific at all.  So, lucky you,  I will share with you my favorite photo in the whole wide world!

Notice the Odie pez dispenser in his breast pocket.  A classic.  Smells like FOB.
