Ehhhhhhhh. It's a lot harder than I thought. I guess I got lucky at my first try. Now that I think about it, it's really hard to create notes and lyrics that would really fit to the beat given to us by Six-T Productions. Of course, I don't want to give up. I just really need to know the whole story (maybe then I'd be able to create the chorus... Ehhhh, it's really a lot easier when you're a rapper. All you have to do is speak it in such a way that it fits the beat. You don't have to think about notes and whatnot).

Oh well. Maybe I really just have to drop my own expectations to myself and just do it. For now, I need to know what I really want to say in that song. That, plus I have to eat breakfast now.

I wanted to ask help from all of you, and so I planned to post the beat here. But if I do that, Six-T (actually, he's my classmate who owns the record studio) might just kill me for that. We're in really good terms right now, and I don't want to wreck it. Now I really have to do it alone. It's a bit of a bother, since I have a lot of other things to do, but I really want to improve on this.

Hence, I'll stop whining.

I love rain when I'm inside the house, looking at it.
I hate rain when I'm inside the college building, it's dismissal, and I'm wondering how in the world would I get out there without getting wet. Hence, I wait for it to stop.

Writing a song

is very hard for me. It's a new thing for me. Today, We're going to a record studio. We haven't finished the song, but yeah. My partner was surprised with me. He said my "level" is a level or two higher than his. I really don't get it. Also, he said that I came on strong. He had a prejudice about girls being weak. Haha, he said that now he knows he's completely wrong. Anyway, he said he's very much up for the challenge to make his self at par with me.

Ehhhh, I really don't know what he's talking about. In the first place, this is the first time I've done something like this. Unlike him, I haven't "record" my voice properly. I haven't experienced "editing" songs and whatnot. I don't have a record label like him. I don't have connections like him. All I know is that I want to make good music badly.

He said that this song would turn out to be "wicked".
And still, I have no idea of what he's talking about. I'm not aiming to be famous after this. I just need a jumpstart. I just want to make good music for now.

Anyway, off to school, I have a lot of things to do.

I'm currently writing a song with the rapper classmate. Ehhh, it's fun, that's given, but it's also a lot harder than I thought. I have no idea how the chorus will work out. I sing the whole verse with only one breathe, because I find the song to sound a lot better than when I cut it down. Besides, the beat is fast, so I can manage it.

Also, I have a deadline tomorrow. Yikes. It's hard working on it at the same time. If only I can divide my body and do the 2 tasks as efficiently as when I do only one task.

To be optimistic, but not to hope too much.

And today, thanks to maebemaebenot, I learned this little thing called... erm, I don't know what they call it, but in my own opinion, it will help me a lot, especially in business, since we do a lot of hoping in our realm of world. But today, I got curious with this entry. It made me think that one can be optimistic but not have much hope in his/her self. To tell you frankly, I have no idea what the difference between hope and expectation is. So with this, I guess what I really mean to say is to be optimistic without expecting a lot in return. Well, if that' even possible. I'm gonna have to experiment with this concept. Haha, I love social experiments.

I'll cancel out Chorale on Monday and Wednesday. I'll cancel out ComPar on Wednesday and Thursday. And now that I've actually written it here, I pray that there will be no changes after this. I can't afford to do that. I can't be flexible all the time. And I'm beginning to be afraid of Wednesday. I hope the recording will turn out fine (or even better than fine). I wish I can write good music. That way, I won't have to bother anyone in helping me.

Lately, I've been thinking about things. Sometimes I wish I don't have to please the people around me. It gets tiring when I understand them, but they can't understand me. And yet, I understand why they can't understand me. And the only mature thing that I think I should do is to concede to them, and be understanding. And in the end, it's only I who suffers alone.

Sometimes I wish to be alone. Just be detached from everyone else. And yet, when I see them, the ones that I love, I can't help but mingle and try to make their day happy, in the hopes on making my day happy in return. And yet, the dejected eyes, the evasive gestures, the silence, the detachment-

Sometimes, I wonder why I even bother.

Oh yes, the classic game of tower.
Mind you, we were still able to make more than 5 layers after that picture.
And I won!

Location: my sister's apartment
Time: around 7:00 pm

Yesterday, my sister and her classmate bought things for this project of theirs. Don't ask about it, it's complicated to explain. Anyway, while shopping for the project, she bought this awesome toy "with eyes closed" (it's worth 100 pesos). When I saw it, I asked if we, my sister and I, could play right then and there. She agreed, so we played, blah blah blah. And who might have thought that both of us are actually really, really good at it. It's so incredibly fun to play with, that my sister was able to forget her stress and fatigue. Yaaayy!

So that's the lighter side of my day yesterday. On Monday, I'm going to bring this at school. Hehehe, let's see who's the best!

P.S. Yes, that's my sister with her bug-eyed face, and that's me trying to lick the blocks.
