| Brrr! The temperature finally feels right! I usually dread the thermometer going anywhere under 40F but after that one Saturday of 70's in January (whenI thought the world was going to end), it feels goooooood to have chilly willy 20's air. Yay.
Fuzzy looking for food.

| The great escape... almost. The main entrance/exit of my workplace has a set of revolving doors and a handicap entrance that activates at the push of the big blue button 3 feet up from the floor. If you're not at least 2 feet tall or have not had enough time to understand the intricacies and timing of revolving doors, there's really no way to get in or get out. So, I guess it should come as no surprise to me when I walked in this morning through the revolving doors that there is a little mouse standing on the other side staring at the doors, looking rather confused. It was an impressive feat really. There are no labs on the main floor nor are there large open staircases leading to other floors. This mouse made it up or down at least 2 flights of enclosed stairs (or used the elevator maybe), crossed the cafe area, passed the guards booth and was inches away from the free world!! Unfortunately for him, the doors are not made for the escape of confined laboratory mice and three people were already standing quietly behind him waiting for the right moment to make their move. Next time, little mouse, head down to the children center and maybe one of them will pick you up and hide you in their backpacks. Oh, but remember to stay away from Dr. Harold because dogs and mice don't mix. Good luck on your next escape!

| Shoot and run...I'm so shooting shy that I can't get up close to people and take pictures of them... so I... shoot and run! That explains these blurry pictures. :)

He turned his head, and I ran!
Interesting performer. I did another shoot and run. shaky fingers, shaky fingers!
