Skating... and Jet News

Last night I went skating. Woot! It was fun and also painful. Though I only fell 3 times it was enough to reassure me of my inability to skate. It was a Campus Crusade 70's Themed skate party and it was awesome.

In other news...

Jet(!!), the best band in the land, is coming to Memphis in April. So feel free to plan your lives around that. April 13, is the exact date. The Venue is the New Daisy Theater. It's going to rock!

thats right... so I'm going to probably never update this anyway. Xanga also sucks. So yeah.

I'm not liking school too much. Boring crap. Homework. What else can they make me hate?

Seriously, it's not that bad. I really like my new apartment. It's super.

I broke my guitar. Not on purpose. I'm pretty upset but it may have happened at a good time. Now I have more time to study :). .... yeah

End of Freshman Year

Freshman year is basically over! I have one more exam and then I can come home and .... work. That should be worthwhile. I don't know how school can go by so fast. I mean what the heck, I'm in COLLEGE. That is a crazy thought for me even now. It's been fun so far and I have 3 years left. Crazy...

So what was up with xanga today??? They literally moved?? Do you find that strange?
I was totally jonesing for some Xanga too. Don't really know why... the only people that ever update are LeFevre, Hedrick and Murray. Not to say you guys aren't cool. I mean no one even leaves comments anymore.

Sooooooo I'll have a real bedroom tomorrow!!! I can't believe it. I'm excited.....

FINAL EXAMS

Final exams are:

Boring
Difficult
Long
Unnecessary

but I have to take 5 of them.

I recently went to eat at Chiili's.... that was good food. Bacon chedder hamburger. Or as chili's affectionately calls it "a BIG Mouth Burger." You should try that sometime.

Thinking about starting an Oxford based band next semester. But I probably won't have time because I'll be working. Work is great.

Annual Post-Easter Update

I'm sure no one reads this anymore but anyways...

This weekend was a lot of fun... played alot of volleyball and sang a few songs. Easter at my Grandmother's is always wonderful. Seeing everybody... yea. Went bowling and sucked pretty hard so that was good. Gotta love Easter.

I was terribly dismayed to hear what some of my friends did for Easter. I don't think getting drunk, high, or having sex really glorifies the Lord or commemorates Jesus' death and resurrection. But what do I know??

Watched The Passion of The Christ last night. All I can say is wow... and thank you.

In Literature, we are reading Doctor Faustus... I dunno how many of you know what this play is about (I know you know Hedrick) but it is very thought provoking. Today the whole class was having a big discussion about faith, which I though was interesting considering most of those people got hammered last night. Penny Pitchers at Billard's... What can you do?

Anyways... Hope this update will suffice for another week or four.

Fight Night Round 3 = Best game Ever.... or at least in the last couple of days.

Had fun at the coast... learned alot and was supremely humbled. If you would like to know more just ask.

Well it looks like I'm going to the coast for spring break. Not to bask in the glorious sun or explore the infinite sea... but to clean up hurricane ravaged homes. It should be a real growing experience. My only hope is that I return with my life because if I don't then my family gets nothing. A certain waver I signed states that my family could not sue Campus Crusade if I die on the trip... . So lets just hope I don't get eaten by an alligator or come down with a deadly illness. Or if you're not a fan of Jeramy Murray you can hope for my agonizing death. Anyways.... this could be my last update. Just think about life with out ME!! *Gasp* How terribly lonesome the world would be.

Hope everyone has an enthralling spring break. Be safe though.

I have found classical music to be an inspiration of sorts, much to my surprise. I'll credit this to Hedrick's insistence that I explore all kinds music. Thanks. Seriously.
