Greetings and Salutations everyone,

I'm back and updating this blog of mine after many months of absence. Since the last time I reported in, I was living the coffee-injected, wireless-consumed city of Seattle.

I'm back in school, fresh off a fantastic trip to California, which was filled with adventures and daring-do...For your entertainment, I'm posting a picture of the three-fourths of the posse who ventured south. This is Cail, Rob and I on the famous Huntington Beach

Well, this was about a month ago, but I'll put them up any way. Fourth of July is, if you know me well, one of my favorite holidays. Where else can you see people barbequing, setting of fireworks, eating bad food that tastes good, and hanging out with friends, while being proud of your country.

Any way, we watched the fireworks being set off over Union Lake overlooking Seattle. The pictures don't do justice, but it is one of the best shows ever and the fireworks at gasworks park in Seattle are in the top 5 in the nation. It was like watching a laser light show and they also had music played over it. You should've seen the fireworks section with the Apocalypse Now theme blaring with the lights filling the sky with the Seattle skyline in the background. Here's a bad picture of it, imagine it 100 times cooler, brighter, louder, an better and you'll get the picture.

Here's a good picture of the 200,000 or so people packed into one park. It felt like Disneyland except no rides. What a sight. Where else can you go and see a huge 25 foot tall inflatable head likeness of the Statue of Liberty with thousands of people surrounding a hill? There was also a huge choir that sang the national anthem as a huge blackhawk helicopter flew a huge circle around the inlet with a 40 foot flag hanging from it. Man, I like being American.

Leila, Myself, and Liberty herself.

A picture of the crew. Starting from left to right, Tony the Minge, Eric the Pilon, Annie Bones, Yours Truly, Leila Stambouli, and Eric's sister...I forget her name, I'm a terrible person. I've only met her once.

The coolest guy at the fourth of July fireworks show was definitely this dude. He started doing these freak 'dancing' moves to the music being played by the sponsors of the show. Then everyone started clapping for him after a song, so he danced a few more songs and like a couple thousand people all cheered. It was the raddest thing I'd ever seen. I was envious but extremely impressed at the same time. The guy in the middle with the stripped polo is the dude. This was truly a Napolean Dynamite moment. Breathtaking was the word to describe it. Simply breathtaking.

I have more pictures from the things I've done this summer, but it takes so long to put them up on here...should I add more?

Also, I only have 2 more weeks here in the Emerald City. I'm going to Howie Day on the 9th, shot in the dark, but if any of you are around, you should check it out with us. There's a couple more things I've yet to do this summer that I need to do before I leave...not enough time these days and too many things to do.

I am back yet again...This xanga thing of mine is updated once a month I notice. Any way, I am back, alive and well. I've been working a lot, but I've also spent a lot of time in Seattle. I just went to this little event in Seattle called The Bite of Seattle. It was a great time. I split a Phillipino plate and a thai plate with a friend. Both were only 2 dollars! The bite of seattle is a thing where venders and resturants set up booths to try their food for really cheap. So you can like spend 10 dollars and eat 5 different types of food. So good. Afterwards I had elephant ears, which is my favorite summertime food...I could eat it any time, any where, but alas it is only found at county fairs and things like this. You don't understand how much I love elephant ears...Trust me, if you haven't had one, go get one now at your local country fair!

Early this week, I went to the seattle beach with my friends. It was sunset and totally reminded me why the west coast is the best place to live (at least semi-permenantly). By the way, I'm the one on the right. I don't quite remember what we were trying to do, but the picture is pretty rad. I'm beginning to realize that summer is going too fast and there's too much to do!

I was sitting at the library (where I check email and where I am currently updating my xanga) and found this rad design that I want to make into a t shirt. I think it'd be sweet if it was on a black shirt with the tree limbs white, and the trunk would start at the bottom and the limbs would semi-wrap around the lower torso.

I still don't have a cell phone. I opted not to get one this summer because it's too much of a hassle and I tried getting a land line put in where I am staying but they (the phone company) was like "we can't get you a line installed for another 3 weeks! Absolutely ridiculous...Any ways, I've come to the conclusion that cell phones are more of a ball and chain..However, I came across this picture and I think I'll invest money into it. I could be a millionaire overnight with this sucker

.

Yes...this will be fantastic...And with that, I am signing off...Peace and Love
