Interests: I enjoy studying and thinking about the universe that God awesomely created. I like some astronomy, some science, some sports (V-ball, kickball, softball), discussing certain topics, singing, vegetable gardening, playing in lots of snow, playing dress-up and old-timey days (1700's & 1800's in England and American colonies), swimming, boating, grand pipe organ music :), some acting, helping to make a skit or a movie, and I'm sure there are other things...

or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims' pride;
I'm glad they'll never see.
Babies piled in dumpsters,
Abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty;
your house is on the sand.
Our children wander aimlessly
poisoned by cocaine
choosing to indulge their lusts,
when God has said abstain
From sea to shining sea,
our Nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love
and a need to always pray
We've kept God in our temples,
how callous we have grown.
When earth is but His footstool,
and Heaven is His throne.
We've voted in a government
that's rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless Judges;
who throw reason out the door,
Too soft to place a killer
in a well
deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby
before he leaves the womb.
You think that God's not angry,
that our land's a moral slum?
How much longer will He wait
before His judgment comes?
How are we to face our God,
from Whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do,
but stem this evil tide?
If we who are His children,
will humbly turn and pray;
Seek His Holy Face
and mend our evil way:
Then God will hear from Heaven;
and forgive us of our sins,
He'll heal our sickly land
and those who live within.
But, America the Beautiful,
If you don't - then you will see,
A sad but Holy God
withdraw His hand from Thee.

| What makes someone a "good person"?Good enough to get into heaven? We all have disobeyed God. None of us can get good enough to get into heaven by ourselves. But, there is a way to heaven. The only way. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) Jesus saith unto him, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." (John 14:6) "God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) We deserve to spend eternity in hell, separated from God who is the source of all things good. But Jesus took our punishment for us. God loves you and me so, so, so much. Now, if you receive Jesus as your personal Savior, you will spend eternity with Him in heaven. God doesn't want anyone to spend forever in hell, but wants everyone to repent (turn from sin) and trust Jesus as their Savior. Only Jesus can save. Only Jesus is the good-enough sacrifice for our sin. His payment is enough for everyone.
