So now for the much awaited update on the Ohio trip...

...it was good...

So now I'm back at home and...hahaha...jk...it was an adventure...my flight was supposed to leave at 3pm from Santa Ana, but we couldn't take off because the weather in Chicago was bad and we'd have no where to land...so we sat for a little over an hour before taking off...we finally arrived in Chicago at 11:30 at night and my connecter had left 15 minutes previous to it...great...so I called the hotline number to get onto another flight and she said that the next available American Airlines flight was at 6:42 the next night, well, Ohio is an hour ahead of Chicago, and with the flight time, and the time change, that put me at arriving into the airport with an hour drive to the prom still...so that would've done me no good...and I explained to the lady that I was flying from California to Ohio to go to prom with this girl...so she said that she would call some other airlines and see what she could do...I waited on hold for about 10 or 15 minutes and she was like, okay, we have you on North West flying at 7am to Detroit, then to Cleveland, you'll be in by 11:30...w00t!

Except, I was at the Chicago airport with seven hours until my flight...well, me being me, my friend Dean drove in from Wisconsin and picked me up...yay...so we went to his place, watched some skating videos, played on the organ for a bit, and then he drove me back to the airport...it was soooo wonderful to see him since I only see him maybe once or twice a year...

Back at the airport, I had trouble getting my boarding pass because NW was saying that AA hadn't released the ticket to them, yet I was calling AA and they were saying that they had...omg...I honestly thought I was going to be stuck there...so finally it turned out that the confirmation number NW had was wrong...and luckily my flight was delayed, other wise I never would've made it...then I turn to the line for security and it's looong...I mean, rediculously (I so butchered that word) long...the NW lady turned around and was like, follow me, so I got to go to the VIP/1st class line which was uber short...then I showed my drivers liscense, which expired on my birthday and I didn't know...so I had to go into yet another line, have my bags opened and searched, remove my shoes and my belt, have the metal detector wand waved all over and got frisked (why can't they have cute security guards?)...

I made my flight, then when I landed in detroit, I had to /run/ for my connector...and I mean, they couldn't have put two connecting flights any further apart...jeeeze...but I made that one too and I arrived in Cleveland just fine, where I was picked up by Cindy's father and we rode back to her house...we talked about skating, and how skaters stick together (me going to prom in Ohio and Dean saving my butt in Chicago)......it was cool! Her parents were awesome, I got to see Holly for a bit, Cindy's sister...then the time came when we had to get ready...

Off we went to Katie's house (another skater) and we got food, and got dressed...took a TON of pictures...omg...finally, our limo arrived and we went to dinner at this little cute place...where aparently millions of the kids from our prom went...so they knew people there...the group we were with was really cool...I mean, they were great people...

We finished eating and went to prom...first thing we did was take our photos, and it was great because they let us pick our own poses or had them do it for us...well, Cindy and I were joking earlier with dips and stuff...so for the picture, I dipped her off to the side instead of face to the camera that way her dress would show...it'll be a great picture!

I didn't dance much, but as most people know, I really don't care for the whole bump and grind dancing style...after prom we drove around in the limo for a bit, just to use up what ever time we had left...OH!! Our limo drivers name was Joe...like, in Princess Diaries...DISNEY MOMENT! lol...he was cool...the time finally came to crash at Katie's for the night...I had a bed all to myself, and I acutally woke up in the morning, kind of...but I was up...I slept for about 2 or 3 hours...

Then where did we go? CEDAR POINTE! Oh yeah...it was awesome...I got Cindy to go on a roller coaster for the first time...I got her on four or five of them...though, I wasn't able to get her on one that went upside down...we got Katie on one of those though...the whole day was really a lot of fun...some drama with one of the couples, but beside that...awesome...I think that it was really funny that it was about 60 or 70 something and they were all complaining about the heat and getting sun burns and I was like, this is throw food in a basket and run for the park picnic weather...I think they hardly break 100 in the summer, if that...and I'm like, please...we nearly hit 130 where I live...and I love that they have accents...except, out there, I was the one with the accent, which was cool...but I could hear myself every so often slip and say a word with theirs instead of my californian accent...

The time finally came and I had to catch my flight...again I got pulled to the side and all that fun stuff...but it was the 3rd time, so it was more routine than anything...I actually had about an hour before my flight when I arrived at the boarding area...so I sat and read for a bit...for some odd reason, Jason was up uber late, so he saved my sanity as well since I was able to AIM with him for a bit...

While I was waiting they were making anouncements that my flight had been over booked and they needed people to volunteer to switch flights...I just sat there...quite a few people volunteered, and they still needed more, and again needed more...finally they just needed one more person, so I thought, why not...I went up and was like, I'm flying here...what do you have...so she looked it up in her computer and was like, okay, your new flight would leave in an hour, and you'd connect at the same place, and you'd be in Santa Ana at 2pm (original plan was for 11:30, which for some reason seems to be a magic number)...then she comes out from behind the counter and asks to see my clothing and asks if I have anything nicer...that puzzled me...and then she goes with, well, it'd be your perogative any way...and I was like, what? lol, and she said that on my Chicago to Santa Ana flight, I'd be in FIRST CLASS!!! YES!!! haha...needless to say, the light rocked, four hours, free meal, comfy seat that I could turn sideways in and recline, I had three windows all to myself, a great view, I had a drink when ever I wanted it...the warm towel *shrug*...I LOVED IT!!! So now I'm spoiled...

And that was that...woohoo...

Okay, so I'm kind of making an update, but don't expect much...*evilgrin*...anyway...whats been going on in my life?

Thursday was okay...I had school where Marina asked if she could come with me that night to the swing dancing thing down in Riverside...because Troy was going to be there...theres a long story to that...but I'm just going to sum it up here as drama...then came skating practice...which was meh...but it went alright...afterwards though, I stayed for session, got Marina onto some skates...then Justin arrived, and I got him onto some skates...then Matt arrived, and I got him onto some skates...it was a fun session...I should get all of the swing kids to go together sometime...that would rock! I had to leave session early though to get to swing night...

We packed up and made our way over there...and it was great...because it was Justin, Myself, Benny, Ray, Reina (visiting), Jodi, Nikki (not Phat Cat), and Robyn...plus some new peeps that were really awesome...so I had a lot of fun...mostly danced with Justin and this girl named Liz...hehe...yay for physics, philosophy, and politics while dancing...it was great! Benny still wasn't getting on my nerves...you know, he didn't at the video, then again at dinner afterwards, and then again at swing...it's amazing...he used to drive me crazy...but I guess we've both changed a bit and that allowed us to get along...I wouldn't call him a friend...but we do okay around each other...um...oh! Rob was there too...sweet guy, but uber creepy...he just trys waaay too hard...but Rob, Troy, and Marina (to start with) really need to work on their timing...whatever...

Eventually we had to leave there...twas time to go...so Justin and I packed up, Troy gave Marina a ride to her parents place...and Justin and I went back to his place...we ended up talking for about 3 hours...then finally made it up to our rooms where we talked for another half hour before falling asleep...lol...at 7 in the morning I got woken up (falling asleep around 4) so that his mom could change (she keeps a lot of clothes in her room, that room, and a ton more shoes in Justin's...haha...so after standing in Justin's room for 8 hours (5 minutes) I crashed back in bed and died...then woke up again around 11ish...and after we procrastinated getting ready, we headed out to pick up Jen...that started an awesome day!

After picking up Jen, we went back to Justin's so that he could pick up his coins and take them to a local coin star machine for cash...he ended up with 30 something...wow...and off we went to pick up my wallet...you see, I realized Thursday night that I had left my wallet back at home...omg...I was ready to die...it had my Disney AP in it...so my dad said that he could take it with him to work on Friday and leave it down at the security desk of his building...so on the way there, we were getting off of the 405 and when you do you can see most of the air strip at Boeing (where my dad works)...and sitting there was this beautiful WWII bomber...it had four propellers, silver/chorme body panels, multi windshields...omg...I loved it...so I tried getting my phone out, and Justin stopped on the off ramp and I took a picture (which probably won't come out great)...just as we pulled away a car came around the corner...perfect timing...

We arrived and Jen came in with me after I so gracefully x-ited the car and "danced" on the curb...the security guard in there was horrible! In a good way...I told him that I needed to pick up my wallet which my dad had left for me there, and he asked me to describe the contents...which I nearly named everything...then he asked for ID...haha...I was like...you have it already...and he asked where I lived and pulled out my drivers liscense...so I told him and he smiled and gave it to me...I love it when people have a little bit of fun at serious jobs...everyone needs to lighten up sometimes...

Jen and I (dying hypoglycemics) decided that it was time to eat...because Justin didn't need anymore bodies in his car...so we drive off to the local mall and decided to eat at the food court...all the time while we were driving...we were singing musicals...it was great...

So later, it ended up being Ru, Marina, Justin and myself going to Christina's party...now /that/ was fun...omg...I wasn't planning on staying long, Ru and I were supposed to be at her dorms watching movies...but I figured with her roomate being asleep and her really needing to get out, the party was a good thing...so we arrived...I was told that it was a party for Christina's friend's bf...it turned out to be Hope's bf...so that was cool...although, Hope had a huge melt down that night...omg...such drama...well, it was just her really...

The party itself was awesome...I got to meet Dominique, who happens to be one of the Jasmine's in the Aladdin musical in DCA...and then Laura was there, shes a lead for Fantasmic! and I had worked with her a few times but I had never really gotten to know her all that well...but the next day rocked...I'll get to that later...there were some other cool people, but I already knew them...it was at Eric and Christina's apartment...so of course they were there...we played this drinking game, it was pretty much like 10 fingers...Marina and I won, but Ru wasn't playing, I'm sure that she would have won had she played too...oh, and Eric had this great shirt that he called his "drinking shirt"...I told him how cool it was and that he should actually wear it out sometime...but he said he only wore it when he drank...finally, this one time when I reminded him how cool it was, he was like, I havn't really worn it, but you can have it on two conditions...one, you have to wear it in public, and two, you have to take pictures to prove that you did...so I got a free shirt! A cool free shirt at that! Justin wasn't drinking because he had to drive, but I told him that I would DD so that he could...so that sealed my fate and Ru and I stayed the whole party...which wasn't bad anyway...we ended up leaving around 3 something in the morning...I drove Ru back to the dorms first, and then Marina back to her place...(Justin *eyeroll*)...lol...you know what I'm talking about...we made it back to Justin's and Justin was like, aw crap, I have to help move furniture at 8am today...and you might have to help...I was like...NOOOO!!! But I was staying for free and his parents were nice, so if I had to, I would try...

The next morning I woke up around 11 and he was gone, he had let me sleep in...which I really needed...so I got online for a little bit, did some homework...they came back around one...then everyone but Justin left again...but before we could go, we both had to get ready...and he had to fold and hang a ton of clothes from the dryer...so we did that for a little while...during this we talked about maybe catching Wicked together over the summer...it was so gay...lol...ooooh!!! And I was sooo amused because they have an actual laundry shoot thats on the 2nd floor in the cabinet...and it just drops down into the garage...and while Justin was pulling clothes out of the dryer I threw a towel down to land on him, but sadly it wasn't heavy enough to open the door at the bottom...*tear*...but I tried...lol...Hi Justin! :D 

Finally, we left the house and made our way to the park...first things first, we went to DCA and (barely) caught the last showing of Aladdin...we were trying to figure out the whole time which one was Dominique...she told us that all the Jasmine's were pretty much latina or asian, and shes white...so we spotted a girl that had a white stomach between two darker stomachs...we weren't sure, but we thought so...it turned out that it was her...because she was on the flying carpet...they have two different Jasmine's per show...one on stage...then one that does other parts, and then is Jasmine on the carpet...so we saw her, and afterwards, we were able to get word to her backstage that someone wanted to see her...she came out and was surprised to see us...at the party we had told her that we would try to see her but no promises...that was fun! Then we decided (well, my body did) that it was time to eat...Helen and Melody were in the park, so we planned to meet them at Pizza Port (as usual)...on the way there we ran into Trey at Coke-Corner and dragged him with us...we got there and Keith and Leigh-ann (my Vegas peeps) were there...yay...but I didn't really hang out with them that day...just a visit here and there...they're cool, Tammi, Patrick, Becky, and some others were with them...part of their Disneyland MySpace group...coolness...

After Pizza Port, we went and rode (Helen, Melody, Trey, Justin, and I) Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters...it isn't officially open yet...but they were having soft openings...omg...it was SOOOO fun...and I really didn't get to take everything in because I was shooting at targets...so comprehension wasn't an option...lol...my score was higher than anyone elses in my group...which wasn't all that great anyway...but twas fun...yay for ego boosters...

We made our way to swing where I danced a bit with Jen, Jodi, Justin and Ska Joe...twas fun! hehe...we got some strange looks when the two guys dance together...but whatever...if girls can do it...the boys can do it too...mwahahaha...

Justin and I met back up to watch the 10:30 showing of Fantasmic! and on the way I ran into Brandon and Katie (old scavenger hunt team)...that was nice...but we were trying to track down Laura...finally we found her in A-section...and she was so glad to see us...it was awesome...when I knew her from work, I just knew her, that was it...but after a few hours at a party she had the biggest smile at seeing us...yay! Shes great...she asked if we wanted to get VIP seating, not the free desert one, but good seating...we were like, duh...so she gave us the option of B-tower or the docks...I had never sat in the dock area, so we went down there and then she was like...oh, there are a bunch of deaf people there, so theres going to be a translator standing in front, do you want to go back to B-tower...well, I LOVE asl...so I told her that that was fine...so we stayed down there...she was great...she really got into the lines and the music and everything...omg...I love it...I need to e.mail her...Jen, you should see her do Fantasmic! sometime...

After this we went back to swing, which had ended, so we didn't know where anyone was...but we ran into Ska Joe, and four of the girls...with that...we decided to do Mansion, but soon found out that it was 101 for the night...sadness...then decided on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad...haha...I took a ton of shots...that was sooo fun...w00tage...I got to see Sunita, Brent, Shannon, and Andrea working...I miss working with all of them...I miss working at the park in general...someday...

Then it was off to Fantasyland for the Carousel and Snow White's Scary Adventure...and more picture fun...hehe...then we stopped at Snow White's Wishing Well...and even more picture fun...finally the park was closing so we made our way over to IHOP...too much fun...

We talked about books, and cheered for people coming out of the bathrooms, I had a $5.60 Ice Cream...stupid non-updated menus...*gag*...joked around a lot...tricky syrup...hehe...lots of funny stories...great stuff...at the end of the night, Melody really wanted Justin to go back to her place...so Helen drove her, and Justin and I followed...Michael and his girlfriend, Tatiana, were there...twas an interesting night...hehe...I used Melody's lips to sleep on Helen's butt...I fell asleep, and didn't mean to, because I had practice the next day...oopsy...I started to stir, and was freezing, so I grabbed my jacket, and then I was still cold...I saw Helen, Melody, and Justin sandwiched together, and I just wanted to shove myself in there...it was freezing!...but then I saw my phone blinking and had a panic attack...I honestly thought that I had slept through practice, and I hadn't told my mom where I was, and I was going to be in uber deep trouble...but it was only 6:30 and it was just an AIM message from a spambot...hallelujah!

I woke Justin up and was like...time to run! We drove back to his place, got ready, then headed back out...we stopped at Starbucks first, so I could get caffine, and then we hit Tommy's...after Tommy's, I had skating, which was right across the street...so he stuck around for a little bit before heading back out to Melody's...

Debbie wasn't there...again...thank God...so I did a little bit of team with Gena, then I had my figure lesson, which went surprisingly well...followed by a pairs lesson which also went rather well...after practice Janice, her mom, and my family all went to Starbucks...yummy...2nd time in one day...I need to cut back...and then I died in the car on the way home...Sunday was rather, un-eventful...

I had school the next day...of course...my sleeping hasn't been great lately...and I still have homework to do...but I showed up, did school, it was okay...then raced off to practice in Grand Terrace where Janice and I had another meh practice...followed by dance that night...which was alright...Bob was talking to me during my lesson, and said that we needed to start getting serious x-tra early because he x-pects me to win both Regionals /AND/ Nationals...now thats scary...I hope that his x-pectations are correct...and I'm certainly going to work towards them...but there are still some really great skaters out there...

Today was also un-eventful...school, then skating, then back home...nothing really important to write about...

OH!!! At practice today...haha...greatest thing ever...Janice and I were really dead...neither one of us could really skate...and so we started drawing pictures and we made a little comic thing...haha...I want to make more...I think it would be great...we called it "J-Walking"...if I can scan it, I WILL post it (not like I ever post anything)...but this is a must..,it rocks...
