| Thoughts on Sp0rKsok so i don't know if this has ever happened to you. but it happened to me this last weekend and i was pretty upset...imagine this
your driving back home from about 3 hours away when you decide to stop to eat lunch, of course the obvious choice from your limited selections is the KFC Taco Bell combination. they dont have your all favorite, beloved chili-cheese burritos so you go ahead and go with a classic favorite, the mexican pizza. Only to realize that they don't have sporks at this taco bell. I don't know if you've ever realized this before but Taco Bell's always have sporks galore. Back home i tried to steal about 40 sporks from taco bell for my youth group lol and they got on to me until i said ask your manager if you don't have sporks to spare, and of course he said he did. Taco Bell is infamous for its sporks. And sporks were pretty much made for mexican pizza. So then you go ahead and fix your drink, Dr. Pepper of course, i mean you are a texan, but the Dr. Pepper is all out.
Angrily you fill up with Pepsi go sit down and complain to everyone you pass about how this KFC Taco bell combination resturaunt sucks mainly because they don't have sporks, but also cause they don't have chili-cheese burritos and to add on top of it all they are out of Dr. Pepper. Eventually all 40+ people that you are traveling with know that you are quite upset about the whole spork situation because honestly who should have to eat a mexican pizza with 2 utensils insteak of the all mighty combination spork. And then in a heartbeat something makes your attitude change.
See, yeah, it's upsetting when you dont get what you want, especially when you pay. But I was complaining about a freakin spork. I have no reason to complain, God has been good to me, blessed me with a great place to live where i dont have near as many worries as any number of people on this planet, i dont have to worry about whether or not i will eat, whether or not i have a place to stay, whether or not i will have clothes, and i certainly don't have to worry about my eternity. Yet i keep taking and taking to the point where i have the audacity to complain about the lack of sporkage. What has gotten into me, what has gotten into us?? I have no doubt that an insanley large amount of people in our society, even in our Christian sub-culture, would have done the exact same thing. And that...is a problem |
