Loving Her
“Lovely” he thinks as he strokes her hair
Looking into her eyes
Knowing she’s the one
Touching her face
Skin as soft as porcelain
Kissing her lips with kisses so sweet
Those were the times he thought
Loving her was so easy
A beauty at heart
Gorgeous till death
But the life in her is gone
The flame, which powered her soul, was smothered
“I am the only one to blame,” he thinks
Starring into those eyes which once were so alive
Only to see that there is nothing left but an empty shell of
A girl he once knew
A girl he once had
A girl he once loved
A girl he could have saved.
