Couple of new things, first off Facebook is probably going to be controlling the universe pretty soon. It has a pretty indepth profile, a photo album, and now you can link your Xanga to your Facebook. Oh my yes.

A month or so ago, I sang karaoke at a bar called The Rose Lounge in Copley Township. It was for a "Rose Idol" competition, which has cash and prizes for the top three. Well I became a semi-finalist, and two weeks ago got called back to actually compete. They had an 80's theme going on, and I couldn't think of a song that suited my voice for the 80's, so I chose "Life is a Highway" by John Cochran. KILLED IT! The audiance went nutzo. So I got to move on to next week, where I sang "Over My Head (Cable Car)" by The Fray. I did great, but I do have some competition now, there are some pretty good singers. I moved on to the FINALS, which are this week. Oh I'm so excited...I have to sing two songs in a row. I think I'm going to choose a rock or country-rock song for my first song, and my second song is going to be by Keith Urban. I know exactly which one to choose :)

So, I met a cute guy named TJ last week, he went to Hudson and knows some of my friends. We hit it off pretty good, but like always, he fell off the radar. Hasn't called or text me since Sunday. Ugh. I'm always in last place. If he's out there I guess he needs to come find me because I'm done trying to find him. Rocky found a new girlfriend, Michael Anne. She's...uh...she has a very lucradive job. Let's just put it that way. I don't know if I like her. She's 18 and wild, and he's 27 and looking to settle down...will that work? Time will tell, but I can see that he is the type of guy who would rather spend time with his girl than call or hang out with his friends, or even me, his BEST friend in the world (his words). I dunno, I'm not bitter, just a little apprehensive about the whole situation. If she was 23-26 and had a good personality and a goal set in life, then I'd be that much happier for him. Blech.

I'm working on a few new songs, and I'm trying to break from my "woe is me" depressing songs. It's hard to when you're an empath like me to write happy songs when you're almost always sad and lonely.

My little sister and brother went to Brazil for missionary work this summer. Props to them for doing what they believe I guess. They had a good time I'm sure, and my brother learned Portuguese (hehe I already knew it before he did...sure I forgot it but still!)
Speaking of my little sister, she's finally dating someone. She's never kissed a boy, much less dated one, so this is a good step for her!!! True, he's a Christian Bible thumper, but you gotta start somewhere. They call it "courtship"...which is so 1850. Whatever makes you happy I guess! I can guarantee you one thing though, I will not get along with him. I mean I don't get along with anyone who's a hypocrite anyways, and every religious person is.

PS, Nicole and Chad are done. He broke up with her through Jessica Weimer. Her best friend. What a tool! She's been strong, and she's over him, but she's not over the way he hurt her. Time heals all wounds...I should tell myself that.

So I've had an eventful few weeks.

Rocky and I have been hanging out nearly every day, which is great. We're so close now, I would die for the kid, however last week he got in a spot of trouble with the law. He didn't do anything to deserve it, but here the story:

We were downtown meeting up with some friends to hang out at the Akron bars, and there was one person that Rocky has a bit of a problem with named Anthony. Needless to say, he ignored him for the first part of the night, but he left his credit card at the bar that the guy was at, so he had to go back and get it. Anthony works at this bar, and he came up to Rocky and asked him what his problem was, and Rocky told him, so Anthony like the pussy he is, got Rocky kicked out of the bar. As he was leaving, quietly, Anthony pushed him like he's all tough, so Rocky turned around and cussed him out. For SOME REASON, that was enough to get him arrested and thrown in jail overnight. I bailed him out the next day, and he had to go to court that following Monday. He got off with time served and the bail...which is nice but it was bullshit what happened. Anthony has it coming to him, :)

Other than that, we've just been hanging out at the apartment, going to bars and out to dinner. It's like we're dating but we're not. After what I did for him on Friday though, I'm pretty much set as closer than family to him. YAY! :)

ALSO: The new apartment is great, and my roommate Louisa had a surprise birthday bash for her on that same Friday, and we had it at Nicole's bf's house. It was good times, but we got a little drunk on jello shots too fast. Let's just say I had a bad stomache ache all day the next day. Blech.

Last night me, Rocky and Nicole watched the first Pirates of the Carribean movie because Nicole is taking Chad to see it tonight. I WANT TO SEE IT TOO DAMN YOU!!! Well maybe me and Rocky'll see it this weekend... who knows. Well I've gotta jet, leave me some nice comments, and if I don't like them I WILL delete them. That means you Melinda and Mom! :)

Moved out!!!!

Yes, it finally happend, I moved out of my parents house. I live with my two girls Nicole and Louisa and it's SO much fun. I love being on my own for the first time, and I know it'll teach me some lessons that I couldn't learn at home...or that's what my mom says in her xanga blog. Anyways!

Still single, but you know how that goes I guess. I'll find him one day...I just have to be patient. A watched pot never boils, as the metaphore goes. He's out there, and he might be closer than I think ;) *Rocky*

Hey!

What's up everyone...long time since I updated this thingy. A lot of stuff has happened since my last update so let me get right down and get to it!

I went to Panama City Beach with 14 of my friends for Spring Break at the end of March and that was a blast. My birthday was that week too (23...wow I'm getting old) and I was wasted every day haha! I made a lot of new friends, and became even closer with the friends I already knew. I have a ton of pics, so if you want to see them just hit me up on AIM.

As well as getting some fun in the sun, I'm also moving out to Timbertop Apartments in the end of May!! Woohoo!! I can't wait...it's gonna be so fun. I'm gonna be living with my friends Nicole and Louisa. Speaking of Nicole, I think she may have found the man of her dreams FINALLY!! We love you Chad, just don't hurt her or you're dead in more ways than one. :) I've gotten back in touch with Rocky as well, and we've been hanging out a lot recently. We'll see where that goes, if anywhere... but that's ok because even if it just becomes friendship I'm good with that because he's like my older brother :) Also my best friend Danny has come and visited me a few times from West Virginia U, which is always a good time, and I've made a really good friend named Ashley who is like my best friend almost sister. Awww!!!

Hmm, let me think... OH YEAH! School is about over. Finals week is next week and I couldn't be more excited. I'm gonna pass this semester woooooo! I'm not going back in the fall because I need to save up, but it's all good. I'll get there ;)
