Blue! Tis the life of heaven -- the domain
Of Cynthia, the wide palace of the sun
The tent of Hesperus, and all his train
the bosomer of clouds, gold, grey and dun

Blue! 'Tis the life of waters - ocean
And all its vassal streams, pools numberless
May rage, and foam, and fret, but never can
subside, if not to dark blue nativeness

Blue! Gentle cousin to the forest-green
Married to green in all the sweetest flowers -
Forget-me-not, the blue-bell, and, that queen
of secrecy, the violet - What strange powers
Hast thou as a mere shadow! But how great
what in an Eye thou art, alive with fate!

I love that poem! Blue is such a wonderful color... I even named my favorite first dog Blue. I am so excited for Narnia to come out! It looks so good!

Last night we went to see Delirious? and it was so awesome. Since they're an English band, they only come to America every once and a while. It was so fun! They are awesome.. I know this is terrible, but mostly I don't like Christian music.. But I really loved Delirious?... they just write love songs to God. Really beautiful love songs.

Annika was with us. She is from Austria and she is staying the weekend with us. It is so fun! We just got back from having coffee together 'cause she had never had Starbucks before. She is the sweetest girl in the world! Absolutely hilarious and she really loves the Lord. How refreshing.

On Thursday, I was doing Physics in a coffee shop in Palo Alto and there was this group of eight older ladies... like in their 70s or 80s. They are talking and laughing so loud, until these three police officers come in. Then they are like sitting there watching the police officers. They totally reminded me of like teenage girls who try to get guys attention. They went up to go have pictures with the policemen and I swear they asked for their autographs. They were giggling and giddy, just like little girls. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen!

Halloween was so fun too! One of our friends came over, and Kate, Mandy and I all went trick-or-treating together along with six of our little neighbors who are like 6 and under. That made the night so much more fun because they were so animated and so excited whenever they got an extra big candy bar or a lot of candy. It was such a fun night, even if I felt too old to trick-or-treat.

*Why* is it 'bad' to not like CCM, pop, or rock?

Weird...there were Starbucks stores in Vienna when I was there...

Now, you may think it's funny...and perhaps the officers did too or were pleasantly pleased, but...when you (if you were a guy) have little old women in their 90's tell one's parents that their son is handsome...it's rather embarrassing.
