KCPC JOSHUA GENERATION.

whatup kids. sorry for our lack of responsibility with keeping this site updated.. but since we're starting this year fresh we'll try our best to keep it up. :)

With summer coming to a close and the 05-06 school year coming faster than we hope for it to, our youth group has some prayer requests for which we'd greatly appreciate if you guys could pray.

1 for all the graduated SENIORS
most have already started their first days of classes in their schools.. pray for His guidance and protection over them as they go on with their next big chapter of their lives and are facing different hardships due to being away from home or just experiencing spiritual mental and physical struggles. Let's keep on sending them encouragements and prayers.

2 for our teachers and leaders that will be serving this upcoming year, and the ones that are leaving us.
As a lot of you may have noticed, many of our teachers are leaving us in cluding Pastor Pauline [to cambodia] and Ms. Esther[to China]- Let's keep them in our prayers, that they may glorify God wherever they are and whatever they may be doing. Let's also pray for the new leaders that will be coming to serve at our youth group this upcoming school year. we're in need of many more teachers and someone who can help pastor abe out - God provides guys, let's keep praying.

3 for the rising freshmen class
I'm sure most of you kids already in JG remember how it felt like going to high school for the first time and things you struggled with your freshmen year- let's keep our upcoming freshmen class accountable and really welcome them as our little brothers and sisters- constantly pray for them, talk to them, keep in touch with them during the week, etc.

4 for the student leaders God will be using this year
Whoever it may be, let's pray for the student leaders God will be using this year- it may not be someone who's the strongest or the most outgoing or most "qualified" in our eyes, but it could be even someone from the freshmen class, or the senior class- lets pray that our leaders will truly work for the glory of God and not anything else, and be truly have the heart for serving the youth group.

5 overall for our upcoming school year
We always have regrets of "what we couldve done" or what we want to change if we could go back in time.. but really, let's learn from those mistakes or wahtever we experienced, and pray that God will be able to guide us and that we'll seek him everyday even during classes or just schol days instead of church becoming once again just something we go to on sundays and is a routine.

As for our UPCOMING EVENTS

0824 [tomorrow] There is a send-off service at the main santuary for Ms. Esther and Pastor Pauline, so if you would like to come out and pray and support them , it would be great.

0826 there is no PGIF- instead, there is a churchwide prayer night at 8pm, come out and pray with the whole congregation.

0827 Morning prayer @ 6am- it's a weekly meeting, all are welcome :D we usually brunch together after too =)

0828 Ms. Esther & PP's last sunday

Alright.. that's it for now. Let's make the most of our last few days of summer! Take care guys. I LOVE YOUUU :D

in Him,
Sarah
