| | Labor Day is a nice holiday, unless you have to work. I have had off on this holiday for several years. But, I went shopping today. I found out just how many people actually have to go to work on a day that is supposed to give EVERYONE a day to rest at the end of summer. Many people don't remember the "blue laws", a time when you could only purchase the bare essentials, like eggs and milk on a Sunday or a holiday. Today, you can do everything. Well, I have enjoyed my day off. I hope that whether you had the day off, or if you worked, that you enjoyed the last fling of summer. |

| Maddie had her kittens! THEY ARE REALLY CUTE! there were 4 gray and white, 1 calico, 1 cow spot like mom, and 1 darker gray with some white. 7 in all! so the winner of the contest was dsluder! congratulations!
