| Well I'm terrible girl. Haven't been posting a lot huh? I bought The Lord of the Rings the two towers a few days ago. I love anything LOTR now..
Aimee and I are going to be tired tomorrow night. We are both doing a 15 mile training ride. Which takes place out on a trail that is a 7.5 mile loop. I've just finished packing all our equipment. However there are a few odds and ends to grap before tomorrow. Both of us aren't really that fit, so hopfully she won't have to high a heart rate at the vet checks.
And yes I'm ready Ella Enchanted, quite a good book actually considering I don't usually like Fantasy books. A friend suggested it, which I ignored then we went and saw the movie. I was impressed (considering the name) and enjoyed the movie quite a bit.
Mom (http://www.xanga.com/kathy) has got a lead on a free Thoroughbred gelding, so maybe, just maybe...
Got a free piano last sunday, which is very exciting. I've wanted one for AGES, and I've been taking lessons for a year this last April. I was running out of octaves on our keyboard, as my songs advanced. I'm currently playing LOTR, the Rohan theme, quite cool. If some of you have sound recorder on your computers... Then I could record, and send the files to you. Let me know!
| Hmm decided to post a link............. www.ludusequinus.com if you like horses, and are easily addicted to Sim games, then go try it. I'm actively playing my account ID number is 648.
Quite the foggy morning out there right now. Hopefully it will be sunny and nice out so I can go for a ride. I have a one track mind don't I?
My brother's mouse, Emily, has an ear infection. The poor thing was thrashing around in her cage this morning when we woke up. We have had her for a while now, but she still isn't two years (life expectancy). Two days ago we saw her with a red ear, and a titled head. With some research online we found out that those are the signs of an ear infection. We gave her some drops into her ear and are going to pets mart for antibotics. Hopfully everything will work out fine, my brother really loves that mouse.
Had a lady and her very young daughter come out to see Snowman. I knew right away that it was not a good match at all. The kid was afraid of walking in horse crap. And Snowman took advantage of her right away, when she was leading him around. However he was good, considering he could have taken off across the paddock easily without much problem. But he knows, and he is always good with little kids until he stays with them for a while. He likes to test you, until you've earned his respect (which after four years) I have. And now I'm to big for him, he has no choice. =D So yeah thats the story...................................
| Guess I haven't been writing much.. Busy lately.
Went down to stock yards again. Heart-wrenching as usual. But before the sale, we went to see an Arabian mare. She could be Aimee's twin. Bay, star, one white sock. The under muscle on her neck is huge, because of ill riding and dental problems. It looks like her neck is upside down. That will change. She is low on the weight, and I measure Aimee and her both 57 inches at the withers. But when their backs come up, that might change. That means their both just under 15 Hands High (HH, 4 in. equals one hand).
In the end we bought her, and she is the paddock with Snowman, Aimee, and Sam. We've been making mush for her, because of her teeth. All will be well in the end I hope.
