Enterey! I’m now in my room waiting for laundry to be done. Really sorry for updating my blog after such a long time. I have been distracted. Seriously. Studies, assignments, friends and college activities. Help! But I have made a vow to myself to improve. To be BALANCED. Once again, its going to be hard. But I will try. I must! Well, college so far has been good. Understanding 75% of what I listen to in class (I actually listen!) Haha. I have 6 subjects for your information which are Anatomy and Physiology, Fundamentals of Fitness and Exercise, Introduction to Sports Science, English Language, Statistics and Introduction to Information Technology. And from all that, I currently have 7 assignments to complete. Wow! I now know 20% of what college life is. Why 20% you ask. According to my seniors, they say that I am only in the “honeymoon” year. Haha. The famous words. It’s so weird. Being in it and looking back at it later. Very soon I’ll be telling my juniors, “Aiya, your just in Year 1, so easy!” Last night, we had night watch. No, it’s not waking up at 2 a.m. and being security guards. It’s the TAR CF’s prayer meeting for Christians and non-Christians (thank God for that!). Last night was really great because there were many testimonies of students being saved. Students who were Buddhists or free-thinkers wanting to know about the bible and who this Jesus is. I also gave mine. It started about 3 weeks ago. I managed to convince a Buddhist (parents are devoted Buddhists) friend of mine, Lycia to go to CF one week. The title for that meeting was “What on Earth am I Here For?” After the meeting, I was surprised when she told me that she enjoyed the meeting. Wow. So as there were more CF meetings, CGs and night watches, I brought her to most of them. I asked her once whether she wanted to accept Christ and so did others from the CF. But she said that she didn’t dare to because she didn’t want to go against her parents. Well, she does have to honor parents and I totally respected it. God will do everything in His own time. But just last night, while I was studying with her, she suddenly asked me, “Kevin, can you teach me how to pray?” THANK YOU GOD!!! So I did. I truly believe that God had touched her heart. Really well. Haha. Well, now for the active side of me. I have already got two medals and one certificate in the past 1.5 months. One for the CF Cup's captain ball where my team got 2nd. It was a great game. Even though there was some unfair play but all went well. Big thanks to the organizers! Next was the Olympic Day Run organized by McDonald. I got 26th placing but I still got a medal! I got a nice certificate and 3 McD vouchers plus a free buffet dinner voucher (per purchase) at Impiana Hotel. I competed in the men's junior category. I joined it with 7 of my sports science friends. Coursemates and seniors. Out of all 8 of us, I got 2nd. Wee! As you all know, I have a PC in my room now. It's a Pentium 3 with 512 RAM and 8 GB space! Haha. It was lent to me by my uncle. It's good in a way because I know that I for sure cannot install anything into it. Haha. But it's all good. Wait. No. I spent RM70 in 2 weeks just for formatting and the guy using an eraser to clean the RAM. Well, I miss home so much. My family, friends, food, nature, etc. Sob. FLY ME BACK!!! Haha. Actually, the food around the college is pretty good. And cheap also. Even some of the canteen food is not bad. Seriously. On Sunday night, the college had Orientation Odyssey Night. It's like a beauty pageant. Of you remember, I was asked to join? Haha. Well, I went there to support my course mate. Wait. I have a picture of him. Well. It was nice. Although a bit draggy but it was all for good. Because he got 2nd place with his partner, Elizabeth. And of course, I was loud. AS USUAL. I will be going to visit my Poh Poh tomorrow which I haven’t done for 3 weeks. I look forward to it. I’m lost for words. I know! Photos! My roommate, Eden.
