Happy New Year!  Yay!

Alright, finally new weblog entry.  I know a lot of you have given up on my site, but maybe some of you will stumble onto this when you are doing you're occasional rounds and see that I added a new entry?

What has Kristen been up to?

I have been working at Guess? at Montgomery Mall as Co-Manager for two months now.  I would say that was quite an accomplishment being my third promotion within the year. Yay!  I am GOOD..jk. ;) I am STRESSED, but content for now.

I graduated on December 21, 2003 from the University of Maryland, College Park!  Yay!  Took me an extra semester, but at least i graduated within the same year as I should have graduated if I stuck to the 4 year plan.  I thought that I was such a failure when I decided I needed to take an extra semester instead of sticking to the 4-year plan that my parents expected me to be on, but looking back now, it really doesn't matter when you graduate, as long as you are mentally "ready" to graduate.  I feel like I am on top of the world because I finally have things sorta figured out for myself.  I am so going to be successful - that is what I say to reassure myself of my dreams whenever I have doubt.  I can make my dreams come true dammit, and I will. :)

Anyways, thank you to everyone who has provided me support, strength, and friendship throughout my life thus far.  Everyone that has touched my life has contributed to my successes and for making me the person who I am now.  Just fair warning to those I dear in my life, I am encountering an important turning point in my life that is going to involve scrutinization, self-reflection, important decision making, and a lot more support, so I thank my family and friends in advance.

I will post a new picture up soon.  Gotta think over my new year resolutions too.  HmMmmmMMmM....

Favorite thought of 2003 - "Kristen's intense" - haha, cracks me up.  Work hard, play hard everybody, (especially if you work for me).
