I'm going to be in the musical WICKED!!! It's definitely a show I've wished to do for a long time!! I join the National Tour in January. =) Looks like I won't be seeing NYC for awhile.

My only complaint is that they said I was "dropping out of school" when I specifically told the editor that I was taking a leave of absence and plan on finishing for sure. They made me sound like a martyr for dance. Other than that, thanks dance magazine! and my girl Jenny for the fun article. where am I and what am I doing with my life?

I'm back and forth between the NY and DC rehearsing for a performance held at Howard University Feb 3 and 4. It's a group piece entitled "Love Tangos"we did at Alvin Ailey studios last summer.

I signed the contract for Hott Feett today, and it was quite exciting I'm not gonna lie. Currently, I'm living like a nomad until I find a place.

Feb 12: Hott Feett rehearsals begin

Mid march - mid april: pre-broadway tryout in DC at National Theatre

April 30th: Official Broadway opening

I deferred this semester at NYU and will finish my last semester next fall. Crashing at college park was so refreshing. Lovely seeing Nette, Em, CG, Dwight, Dom, and everyone! It was a nice recovery from the jetlag from the Philippines trip ... which was amazing by the way. I need to go back to chill with my 2543 cousins, get $8 massages, and bargain for $6 outfits.

This is late Friday night on campus, when we were running on filipino time, sitting around waiting for nothing, until someone realized that we could finally leave for Virginia. I love filipinos.

The showcase was so fun . I only have this picture of Culture Shock DC, who totally worked it out of course!!! It was the first time I saw them perform, and they were sick. And props to everyone else who performed especially UMDCP'S boys in red loincloth.

Sorry it's annoying because it's sideways and you have to cock your head. Thank you for letting me dance for you.

NYU's IFAmily!!!!!!!

So my last FIND was memorable only because of the presence of certain people, especially my carpool -- Ingrid, I'm so glad you held off studing for your two uber important midterms because you knew you just had to come!! Emily T., you handle pressure with the utmost grace and calmness! Giselle, thanks for your socks!! hahah. Chrissy, you pump gas better than anyone I know, and thanks for saving seats lol. And of course the rest of IFA who came .. it was the perfect bunch of people ... a solid balance of street smarts, wild natures, and good drivers!

It was awesome seeing old faces especially Jeanette, Emily A., CG, and other CP heads. Jeff, thanks for being my FIND buddy! haha that was consistent fun all day! Ger, I love you, get better, and thanks for being Harriet Tubman in NYU's time of need! Jonathan, yes please give out the digits.

Never felt prouder to be filipino.
