Woohoo!

So today I finally took the internship offer from Lockheed Martin. Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory.
I guess I will be spending 8-12 weeks in Upstate Newyork then. Hope people are still hanging around Toronto or Newyork this summer.

Actually I have an interview with Apple to work as their iPod/iPhone Intern this Friday. We'll see whats the deal with that very soon.

As for Graduate School I will know by April, so that is kind of bothering me at the moment.

But yeah this summer I plan to go on a grad trip with my frat buddies to Europe for a couple weeks then start my internship then hopefully have time to go back to Hong Kong and have some fun.

What are people's plan and stuff for the summer and also for life after college?

DAM!!!

Today must have been my Happiest Day these last months!

First of all, today is the Last Day of Classes! My BlueTooth Antenna Design finally works and we sent it out for fabrication! I had a phone interview with Lockheed Martin and that went really well. I finally finished my Stanford Graduate School Application!

And and... after all those consecutive frikn all nighters I pulled,

we got 3RD PLACE for our DIGITAL DESIGN!!!

3rd out of 30 teams! Now it just a few more tiny step until Christmas Break!!

Be back on the night of 21st, heard there is a party that night? I guess I'll see you all there!

 I am Done!!! I AM FINALLY FUCKING DONE!!!
I've been working non-stop on this project... so if you guys have been wondering where I have dissappeared to the last few weeks, I have been in the ECE computer cluster every single night.

I used to laugh at those ECE majors who sleep in the ECE cluster and what not, but guess what I was one of them for the last 3-4 weeks.

So I went to London for Thanks Giving for the Week, but other than that I have been staying in that fucking stinking room every night. All nighter the night before London, 730am the night before, 630am the night before that 530am the night before, 630am the night before and so on... Then first night back from London I went to the cluster with my lab partner, got a few red bulls and stayed up till 6 am and last night finally after another crazy 13 hrs till 1130am I AM DONE!!!

I just finished making a the Arithematic Logic Unit ALU for an 8 bit CPU processor from design theory to logic designs to gate level design to making the schematic and finally actualy laying out the chip that too bazillion hours.

Time to Shift force to all the other shit I neglected... but yeah! I am a True CMU ECE NERD FUCK YEAH!!!

I think I have matured.

In the past I would never give up play for anything.

However, I've learnt to give up play when the opportunity cost is too high. I can only truely enjoy play when I have settled all that needs to be done.

Senior year is really different. So much more responsibilities, so much more projects, so much more stress. It's definately good preparation for the real world. Life is hard, but you really gotta learn to love it, you really are creating your own future.
