Things I Learned in 2006

I really hadn't given it much thought but I have learned ALOT this year. I want to thank Ben over at Instigator Blog for inspiring me to get it down in writing.

1. One of the most important things I have learned is that I have alot of people who care for me. I had surgery and then broke my ankle, then another surgery and then found a stress fracture in the other foot. I have had people bring meals, work for me, wash clothes, run errands and bring gifts. They are awesome.

2. Not to dwell on mean people. Prayer helps alot with that. I've always wanted to bonk someone on the head when they aren't fair or do hateful things. Now I don't let myself dwell on it and I know that the Lord will deal with them. Now, I still hope He is mean in how He deals with them but that is out of my hands because He will make that decision. It's a good thing too because I have a big ole cast iron skillet that I would love to use to bonk some sense into some people.

3. Not to always be looking towards the future for when I might have more time or energy. The time is now and it is going by so fast. I'm going to enjoy in the Now time.
