| Update...Things have been going really well. I actually have no time! I'm so busy it's crazy.
So I ended up getting that internship. Yay! I get to shoot and edit! It's also a learning process as well. Like dealing with people and such. At least it's not Hayfield's. That place was pretty cruddy.
Right now I'm on break on the set of my professor's film The Incubator. I'm working the last weekend of shooting, so I'm pretty new at everything. But everyone is really nice and helpful. It's also really chill. But the hours are ridunkulous. Friday, after working at the internship (from 9-5), I went straight to set and the hours were from 5pm to 5am. So, as you can see I was pretty exhausted. Yesterday was from 2pm-1am and today is a whopping 16 hour shoot from 12pm to 4am. It's really fun though. I'm learning a lot. I just wish I didn't have to worry about class and such.
Anywayz....I'm gonna go study some more and then do some more PA'ing.

| Starting up again!Okay so I've been sorely lacking in the whole updating blog thing.
I don't know where to start without going all the way back to the beginning...
How about we start with random things?!
I got two new books today! The Host by Stephenie Meyer and Queen of Babble by Meg Cabot.
Really excited!
Kris' graduation was today. Yeee! BS in.....something...Kinesiology? Okay!
What's up with me? Well, I'm planning on taking summer classes. Only for five weeks. May 27th-June 27th. I'm taking 3 classes: Aesthetics of Film, Documentary, and Water Aerobics! During that time, I hope to intern at this multimedia producing thing in Timonium...paid of course. My interview is on Wednesday, so....wish me luck! In July, I have two weeks where I'll be working as a TA for some of my professors from Towson, teaching a bunch of gifted kids how the shoot and edit stuff. Hey...it's like babysitting kids and doing my major at the same time! And getting paid for it!
So...I don't know if I mentioned this before. We got a new puppy! His name is King "Oliver" Castro!
He's a good pup!
Anywayz, I'll try to update more often....
Riiight...
Night night

| Sorry...There's a story of a squirrelI'm so sorry...
I promised...
I live in my car...literally...no jk not literally...but I seem to be spending more time in it than any other place I'd rather be.
A lot is going on right now...not so good stuff.
I watched a squirrel die.
I was walking to my car from class and saw to my right, two squirrels frolicking and playing. In my mind, I was like, "Aw, how nice it is to not be worrying about school and life when you can just play with your squirrel buddy :)."
Suddenly, one of them passed in front of me and headed towards the street. In the distance, I saw a car driving up. The squirrel looked up and saw the car also and it hesitated. But the car was coming up too fast. The squirrel bolted and I watched it as it disappeared under the car. I hear a sickening crack and then the car passed by. It happened all too quickly, yet in slow motion. I said OH MY GOD out loud, but no one was around. I saw the squirrel: it's head was broken, but it was still alive. The squirrel's body was jumping up and down, as if trying to get the hurt off. Its body kept jumping and jumping until it slowly stopped. Then the body was still.
As I watched it, I wanted to help the poor thing, but I was afraid. Rabies?
It was the first time I saw anything like that. I couldn't do anything, so I just walked away. What could I have done? I looked around me at the people walking by. Nothing. Later on I thought about what I had seen and started thinking that every single one of us experiences emotions not visible on the outside. That everyone sees things differently, sees life differently. While I'm sure I'll never know the perspective a squirrel sees, I know that life is short and that living things should cherish it while they can.
It's sad to think that one minute you could be playing with your friends and the next minute be gone from this Earth. I guess we're not all immune to cars...
