  • Applause, applause- no, wait, wait!

    I'm really tired. But I had a pretty good day at work, so that makes me happy...I've gotta start working on an essay for Misericordia...ugh. I think I might have my subject picked, though. It can only be a page long...maybe I'll post it when I'm done.

    Had the most ridiculous eye appointment today...

    Gonna go for a quick walk before Jake's game!

  • Crush...crush...crush...crush, crush!

    So another week of work has gone by...I'm not working today! Last night I went to the home...one of the residents (the same one who told me that life is hard when you have to beg for a cookie) told me that I have a strong, clear voice. haha...We got a new resident and he's very nice, although also very confused (which is fairly normal).

    CLEAR was a lot of fun on Wednesday night, I thought. It was Connect and the parents were in charge of it...they did a great job! (this was John's idea, btw)

    I think the sun's coming out...yay!

    I won't get used to this...I won't get used to being gone

    I'm having a good day! And I don't have to work tomorrow! Yay!!!! It's nice to have breaks sometimes. I worked for 4 hours at the home this morning, went shopping for a bd present in town afterwards...Saw Hannah, to my happy surprise! (She was watching the store...)

    I was helping one of my old ladies into her recliner this morning and she was talking about something... "And I'll just sit here and think. It's nice to just- sit and think. When you're young, you don't do that. But when you're old, you like to sit and think about things..think about the things you did when you were young. [to me] So sit and think."

    After I came home, took a nap, and figured out when and where I'm working this week, I went for a walk in our backfield, sat ontop of the hill, and read my book...And then I just wandered around in an overgrown pasture, listening to my ipod, and enjoying the beautiful spring day...

  • Sometimes the wind reminds me that my wildest dreams are coming true

    This afternoon was fun..after work (Cafe) I went down and picked up Kara at church, talked to John and Anna for a while...and then went to the Freez!! Yum! Reese Freezies are the best! (And it's on my diet! hahahaha...)
