Destroying is the first step to rebuilding

Hello all, things are getting to get exciting for me.  Thanksgiving was great and Christmas is around the corner.  What the most exciting news is that I have a carpenter interested in working on Dawn's and my house starting next week.  .  Dawn and I agreed that to test if he can do a good job on the house is to have him fix the bathroom first.  If he isn't so good I'll get someone else to do the rest of the house.  If he does a great job for a decent price, I'll keep him to do the rest.  If you all could pray for Dawn and I that this is the right man to do the job.  I'd really appreciate that.  .  Well if I don't see or talk to you before Christmas, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! and a Happy New Year.

Not Much Goin' On

Yep in about 216 days I will be getting married around this time.  Dawn and I have got things planned out pretty well and getting things ready for the wedding.  We have a photographer in mind, honeymoon reservations done, figured out where we want the wedding held, contacting the florist for flower arrangements, got tuxedos paid for, guest lists pretty much finished, and we have our colors picked out.  There is still much more to do so we wont be bored.  Time seems to be going at times pretty fast and others pretty slow; no in betweens for me.  In about 4 months Christmas will be here.  It seems that it just happened not to long ago.  I'm ready for winter because all the bugs either die off or at least go some where else for a while.  No more nights covering my head with my blanket to block out the sounds of buuzzzzzzzzzzzz,  SLAP!!! I missed the bug and smack my own face.  It really bugs me...  I know dry humor...  Lol.  Well I can't think of much to say at the moment so I'll see ya all later.

Pretty Late Engagement Announcement

Hello one and all.  Well, I'm sure that most of you (if not all of you) know that Dawn and I are now engaged.  It happened March 23rd at around 10:30 at night.  It is a long story so I won't go into details.  The wedding is so far set for March 21st in the year of 2008.  Dawn has finally chose the colors for the wedding.  I don't know how much if any information she wants me to broadcast so if anyone is interested please contact her.  .  I was fitted for a tux yesterday while Dawn was working at Master Cuts.  I was well pleased by the deals and the styles they have at Tuxedo Junction.  Dawn and Jolene tried on wedding dresses while I sat in the car for 3 hours............  Needless to say I was pretty bored..........

I haven't been powerlifting lately since being engaged.  I have been working out to get lean but not for strength.  I'm praying that when I get a job closer to Newfield I can start to lift again.  I have been making more appearances lately at Peoples Baptist Church in Newfield.  Things always seem to change when I am away for awhile.  Kids are much bigger than I remember, new members in the crowd, Stephanie and Kristin are at far away colleges most of the time (I miss you guys....(or should I say girls.)), and there is so much more.

Dana, Mamie, Ethan, Seth, Noelle, Kristin, Amanda, Dawn, and I saw Pirates of the Caribbeans III "At Worlds End" 2 weeks ago I think.  It was pretty good.  It help explain things that didn't make sense to me in the other two movies.  I can't talk about the movie too much so I don't ruin it for any one that has not yet seen it.

Well at last my children; remember that this is the day that you almost caught Captin Edward Korbel.  Savvy...?

TRY NIGHT

Well hello there my friends.  Well, here I am at last with my first alvum  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aE4OSDjnrFo   Just kidding.  Yeah, that is really weird.  Oh-well...  Well it's been full of fun and plenty of work to do lately.  Dana and Mamie are engaged now and that was exciting.  I'm happy for the both of them.  I think that they are planning on getting married October 6th.

Duane and I are planning a TRY Night for March 31st, it is on a Saturday if any one is interested in going.  The theme is Mecican Night.  For those of you that don't know what TRY Night is, it is a fun way to reaching the lost and having fellow christians make friends with them and encourage them to come and learn God's Word.  Each TRY Night has a different theme to keep things interesting.  We play games, have food, hear the message, play more games, and then have prayer time.  It is free and fun; so in other words, free+fun= free fun.  Savvy..?  Lol.  I forgot to mention that it is in Moravia at the New Hope Bible Fellowship church at 2362 Oak Hill Road starting at 7:00 pm.  Hope to see you all there.

Valentine's Day was interesting.  It was pretty bad weather and I was stuck home because Ithaca was closed from the snow storm.  That following Thursday, Dawn and I celebrated Valentine's Day together.  We made dinner together.  Let me say that it was the most coldest time I had cooking food.  I grilled steaks for dinner and Dawn cooked the rest of the food inside.

Well I got to go to church now.  I'll talk to you all later.
