What's your favourite body part? What do you think is your best feature? I think this year has certainly been the most positive year in terms of my body image. Sure, I've never really had an issue with my weight, eventhough during year 2004-2005 my weight was hovering dangerously over 60kg (that makes a Body Mass Index of 20 which is supposed to be healthy). Some friends told me I looked frumpy, some told me I look perfect with some 'flesh', but in retrospect, I guess I was not very happy about it and it reflected on my heavy drinking/partying (and vice versa - drinking makes you put on weight)
You have to prepare yourself, and maybe look elsewhere if you just had your lunch/dinner:

That, my friend, is a Fatty Boom bahhh!
Not convinced?
Miss Moonface and gigantic arms! (well at least I had boobs!)
And those were the 'ok' photos of myself, there were a lot more scarier ones.
Somewhere along late 2005 I got my life together and started working casual at my current retail job. Having to juggle uni (I also started going to classes more often) and work slowly send my weight down to my desire range. In year 2005 alone my weight dropped from 62 to around 57 which made quite a big difference. In 2006, life was stable albeit stressful. Weight continued to drop until one point I was spotting too much ribs (54kg).
 Did someone say Lollipop?
This year? A blood test showed that I have dangerous high cholesterol levels which prompted me to keep a healthy diet and kicked my unhealthy habits out the window (that includes snacking on Maccas at work since it's just next door). Exercise plan was also in place (stairs, lots of stairs). And until recently the colonic irrigation to 'cleanse' out the toxins I've accumulated over the years. It's made a difference in how I feel and most importantly, my flat tummy and clear face. The amount of physical activity also created toned limbs and abs (although that mostly come from the singing training). It's definitely safe to say that I'm at my physical best so far.
Being healthy makes me much more productive and brings higher level of confidence. It improves my 'social' skills since I'm less self-conscious than I was before. My favourite body part? I honestly can't pick one but I'm proud of what I've become today. None of us is perfect but we all need to thrive to be better. I'm still working on it -- living healthy, I mean.

Now repeat after me: I love myself!
P/S: Don't say I haven't warned you!
On another note. I've noticed I haven't been posting many recipes lately. It's not that I haven't been cooking (in fact, quite the opposite), it's just that I've been pretty much recycling my recipes and haven't really been producing any new exciting dishes. However I attempted making my own pizza couple of nights ago so I'll share with you the recipe!
The basic pizza dough recipe makes two bases, each pizza
will serve 2-3 people (or one hungry person).
 Healthier than ordering outside!
Ingredients: 2 teaspoons (7g) dried yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
?teaspoon salt
?cup (180ml) warm water
2?cups (375g) plain flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
Toppings (for one pizza)
1 teaspoon olive oil
2 tablespoons bottled tomato paste about 1 cup shredded Mozzarella from now on everything's according to your own taste!
handful of shredded ham
few slices of salami quarter of onion, thinly sliced half a capsicum, thinly sliced
thinly sliced mushrooms (I used 3 big ones on one pizza) Pineapple pieces, shrimps according
to your own preference, I also added 6 smoked oysters.
Method: Combine yeast, sugar, salt and the
warm water in small bowl, cover; stand in warm place about 20 minutes or until
mixture is frothy.
Combine flour and oil in large bowl; stir in yeast mixture, mix to a soft
dough. Knead dough on floured surface about 5 minutes or until smooth and
elastic. Place dough in large oiled bowl, cover; stand in warm place about 1
hour or until dough doubles in size.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to very hot.
Turn dough onto floured surface; knead until smooth. Divide dough in half;
using rolling pin, flatten dough and roll each half out to a 32cm round.
Carefully lift each round onto oiled pizza pan or oven tray.Brush olive oil over pizza base. Place tomato pasta sauce on base, using back
of large spoon to spread sauce all over base, then top with shredded ham,
salami, cooked shrimps, smoked oysters, pineapple pieces, capsicum and
mushrooms. Sprinkle shredded mozarella cheese over pizza. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes.
 Bon appetit!
