It has come to my attention that I need to update my Xanga to say that...

I am still alive...God is good. He's giving me the breath I need to live.

That's all I wanted to say.

Thank you.

Count Thou Fount of Every Blessing

Come thou fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing thy grace
Streams of mercy never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise
Teach me some melodious sonnet
Sung by flaming tongues above
Praise the mount I'm fixed upon it
Mount of thy redeeming love

Here I raise my Ebenezer
Hither by thy help I'm come
And I hope by thy good pleasure
Safely to arrive at home
Jesus sought me when a stranger
Wondering from the fold of God
He, to rescue me from danger
Interposed His precious blood

O to grace how how great a debtor daily I'm constrained to be!
Let thy goodness like a fetter, bind my wandering heart to thee
Prone to wander Lord I feel it, prone to leave the God I love
Here's my heart, O take and seal it, seal it for thy courts above

First exam done and over with and now I have my Adult, Child and Infant CPR card, as well as my Adult AED card, as well as my First Aid card!!! Yay! That takes a load off my shoulders. Now I just have to get off xanga and study for my Old Testement Exam which shouldn't be too hard. I think I could make a C on it and still get an A in the class, which is pretty pro.

Remember... Frohe Weihnachten!! (Feliz Navidad for all of those people out there that don't speak German ; )

Later,

I just got back from Narnia about an hour ago and I've been studying since - I thought now would be a good time to take a break and write a short note and leave a quote. It has been an up and down sort of day and right now guys aren't on my list of favorite people. I'm not going to go on about that one, but just for example - they were messing with my alarm clock yesterday and when I fixed it I didn't check to see if it was set on AM or PM (I'm still used to 24 hr clock!). I set my alarm last night for 8:30 because I had a basketball game that I had to work at for Athletic Training, but woke up to my roommate's alarm at 9 instead because my clock said 9 PM. So that was my one example... other parts of my day were actually pretty good. Allyson called and that was fun. I'm supposed to call her back around 11, but we'll see how late we are going to talk because I have a slight headache.
I have this picture on my desk of my brother at the top of the Alps looking at his back with him and the camera looking down into this valley. It is one of my favorite pictures ever. You can see that we are up in the sky with the clouds. I can't really explain it... it's just amazing. That was our trip to Switzerland this summer with a couple of our friends. Me, Mike, Mike's friend - Devin, and David all went on a really long hike, hoping to go over the mountain and reach a city on the other side, but apparently we took a wrong turn somewhere and we decided to go back down to where we started once we had reached the top. Even though we didn't actually make it to where we had planned to go, it was an amazing trip - amazing experience; one that I will never, ever forget.
Anyways... I really should get back to studying... finals are this week. Please be praying...
I'm flying back in... 5 days and I'll be back in 6!!! I'm pretty excited about that. I was thinking earlier this semester that once I went home all of my problems will be solved but God, luckily, showed me how false that thought really was, and I'm made me depend on Him more. God's been working guys. Man, I love him. He is such an amazing God, one that we don't deserve...
Alright, guys... some of you I'll see in a couple of days. Yay! See you later ; )
