happy fourth of july...kind of:). this is my very first xanga entry!! wow amy, aren't you proud! anyway... today went by pretty quickly. i have been putting off my thank you notes for graduation for way too long, so today i finally sat down and wrote them. can i just take time out to say that nothing is more boring than writing a million letters to people you dont' really know. i mean...what do you say?? all you want to say is thank you but the cards say that on the front and then are completely blank inside. what's up with that?? i personally believe that there should be a huge "thank you" in the middle of the card on the inside. that way all i would have to do is sign my name on the bottom. man...i wasted a lot of space with that. anyway, i was supposed to see the fire works tonight but there was a huge storm and so they were cancelled. so i spent the night with my brother on the porch singing dashboard confessional while he played the guitar. it was really awesome actually. i just sat there with the rain pouring down thinking how amazing our Creator is. seriously... anyone who controls those winds and storms cannot go without recognition. it was absolutely beautiful. i spent the rest of the evening with my fam watching "The Sting", which is, by the way, one of the best movies ever. its definitely a classic. then i talked to three of my favorite people in the world...tracy, amy and erin!!! i am so pumped about seeing you guys!! anyways...i need to go. i have to get up earlier than usual tomorrow and my pillow is calling my name!
