Our First Anniversary!

Wow- can't believe how much has changed. It's been forever since I typed in this blog... and little did I know that there are really people who read this including my grandmother. That's kind of cool... I guess it gives me warm fuzzies to know that someone cares about what goes on in my world.

So today is my one year wedding anniversary to Mr. Andrew B. Miller. He is currently stationed in Norfolk, VA on the USS. Roosevelt. I haven't seen him since November over Thanksgiving break. He's out at sea right now, but will be pulling back into port on the 16th. I can't wait!!!

I on the hand have recently traveled over 3000 miles to finally be relocated with him. I left San Diego on the 24th of April and drove across America by myself. Crazy, I know right?! I stopped to see family and friends along the way which helped to break up the trip. The best part was stopping in Georgia to see Jessica my cousin who I haven't seen since I was 7. She's amazing and really laid back. We have so much in common yet we're different so our personalities really work together. We had a great time hanging out and I promise that will not be the last that she hears from me.

I also was able to stop in Dallas, Texas to see some of Andy's family and I made a detour to Camp Lejeune to see some of my Marine friends. Good times!  Now I'm home in Pennsylvania hanging out with the family. We're headed out to dinner tonight to celebrate my 1 year mark with Andrew, sadly he won't be here to join in the fun, but I am counting down the days until we are in each other's arms again.

I'll be heading down to Virginia on the 14th so that I can check into my new command at NEPMU2. I'm excited and nervous about starting over again, but I can not wait to have my husband by my side again.

So please let me know if you'd like to hang out while I'm town. I would love to see anyone and everyone while I have a chance! If I don't see you please let me know if you'd like to hit Virginia Beach at anytime as we will have 2 spare bedrooms available!

Have you everwondered at times why you were somewhere? What the signifigince was that you were there in that moment in time... that you never really understood what was happening around you...

Sometimes it just drives me crazy, because I don't know why I'm here anymore...

Been a long time since I last wrote in this... just thought I'd say hi to all of those who may still read these!

Not much new in my life... just keeping busy... tons of random shit happening really... hating Andrew's x's a lot but other than that- nothing.

Wish I was home sometimes... never thought it could be possible that I would ever be homesick. Who would have guessed?

Working in my new ward today... finally feeling better after my visit @ the ER for 16 hours. Yeah- that wasn't fun. But Andrew stayed with me through the whole thing. Can't believe that happened...

Anyways- I just helped with my first Circ... haha- now I know what the guys go through when they're born! It sucks...

Waiting for Andrew to get here for a lunch break... wishing the galley was open... OWELL!

We recently got a house together and moved in on Tuesday. We'll be picking out our furniture this coming week... really exciting news there! It's a cute 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 baths, huge kitchen, nice size living room, patio and one car garage kind of house. We love it... and get this, we don't have to worry about rent or the utilities... gotta love being in the Navy for that benefit. Hehe-
