| it has been a up and down week, but something happened today that brought my spirits up. i got a card from someone telling me how proud they are of me, and to always drive for success because they know i can do it. i got to thinking that i have been through a lot, and worked my ass off and it is paying off. i am not sure if to many people think like this, but i am beginning to believe that no matter what life throws at me i can handle because i am destined for greatness. not so much being cocky or that i ma going to be a millionaire, but i know the hard work is going to pay off and i am going to be doing what i am going to school for in some one way or another. so watch out world, cause here i come!

| well well, lets see what is new. school has started. i must say it is good to be back. seeing all the radio and TV guys is nice. i got lots of ideas for the show so i am really excited about this year. i been working a lot. two jobs and school keeps me busy which is good. thank god my classes are not going tohave a lot of book work invovled so i can have time to get everythign done.
i am also still rboke which sucks, but oh well. i have got by before, i know i can do it again. and once i get passed september things will be looking up, so it is not that bad.
i have photography class in a couple hours. trying to blow time in el dorado is hard. there is truly nothing to do here. next wednesday will be better since i have the radio show to do.
well i suppose i will try to read some of my photography book.

| so i just saw something that is absolutey dumb and i have no idea why they are doing it. on the comedy channel they are having a roast for pamela anderson. now ok, a comedy roast is supposed to be a comedian getting roasted by comedians that are his or her friends. what makes it even worse is that it is a roast done by comedy central and not the friars club of new york. since this roast of pamela anderson is on coemdy central it has all the comedians that happen to be on the comedy central shows doing the roast. i have watched the past couple roast that comedy central has put on and they suck. they use the same people for everyone. in the promo for the pamela anderson show the jokes they were telling sucked, and pamela anderson "acting" was pathetic at best. thats all the ranting i want to do because the more i think about it, the more it pisses me off.

| well it is 11:45 am, on august 7th. i saw peter jennings has passed away and i have been wathcing the news for the past hour. it is crazy to think that he wont be on the news anymore. i grw up with him. ABC was all that my family watched for the longest. it seems strange not to have dan rather, tom brokaw or peter jennings on the nightly news anymore. it said he was 67 years old, and i will say that he looked pretty damn good for 67. i thought he was younger. as i was reading the breaking news column on abc news website, i could not help but see the words ABC World News Tonight With Peter Jennings. hmmmmm not anymore. | | |
| yea thats right, i am listening to some david cross right now. i haven't listned to it in awhile, so i thought i would pop it in and have some laughs. it seems like forever since i have posted on here. i guess it has been a little over a month. things have been stressful but interesting as of late. school starts in two weeks. i am so ready for it you can not even imagine. it will be nice to some other things on my mind except for bills and work. the highlight of the past month has probly got to be going to the KSJM 107.9 jamz studios and hanging out there all day. everyone was very nice to me and they said anytime i want to come back and ask questions or just hang out and see how things are run i can. so i was pretty happy about that.
i keep seeing this toilet paper commericals that crack me up. now i can't think of it right now, but there is a calssic joke about a bear taking a dumb in a forest and using the leaves as toilet paper or something like that. everytime i see that commercial it makes me think of it. what cracks me up is the whole idea that the commercial is trying to convey. there is a baby bear with a big wad of toilet paper in his hands and the momma bear comes over and tells him that now since charmin is xtra thick less is more. then the momma bear hands the baby bear 4 squares of toilet paper. now maybe this is me, but i have never just used 4 squares of toilet paper.. thick or not when it comes to toilet paper, less is not more.
yesterday i saw on the news that they found a mammoth tusk in the road work on kellogg (US54). no one that i know of is interesting in the least about it. all it means to us kellogg is going to take twice as long to get finished now.
anyway that is all i can think of right now.
