i thought i had quit xanga, but here i am, back again.  too much goin on in too little time and not have anyone to tell so i have to get it out somehow.  i don't think i've ever been anxious about anything ever, except christmas as a little kid.  i just never liked the word, so i figured i could avoid it by not being it.  but the past week or so, there's just been so much stuff that i can't wait for/don't want to happen/need to know what happens, etc.  every aspect of my life just seems to be cohorting together to drive me crazy. 

hopefully i pass all my classes, everything seems to be riding on that.

me and dave went to test drive some cars yesterday, but he ended up being the only one to drive anything.  we figured they'd be much more likely to let one person drive at any one dealership since the two of us being in the market for a car at the same time doesn;t seem likely.  and apparently people in searcy are more interested in  trucks than any kind of car.  there were about 500 trucks and base model crappy cars for every semi-sporty car on every lot. that's stupid.

we went to go see if i could drive the Sentra SE-R that the ford dealer had, but it was already gone, so we looked around a little bit.  we taught the salesman more about the cars he was trying to sell than he could tell us.  that's only semi-retarded.

then on the mazda dealer and the guy practically makes dave drive a new RX-8.  holy crap, i want one of those now.  i never really liked them til i rode in it.  so that guy was cool, and seemed to know something about the car he was trying to sell.  then we went to the dodge/gm dealer and i was gonna do the talking to see if i could drive something, maybe an srt-4 or a supercharged cobalt or something.  but the salesman didn't seem to act like he wanted to sell a car at all.  i was like "i'm in the market to get a brand new car, i'm goin around and looking at new cars..." hoping he'd be like "let me open her up for you..." but he just gave me a blank stare.  that was retarded.

then we went to the nissan dealer and dave gets the guy to open up a new Z to take a look at, and we're sittin here talking tech specs with each other (the guy has no idea what's going on) and there's kind of a pause, so the salesguy says "and it's even got a place to hold your sunglasses!"  and i'm like what the crap old man?!  are you selling a freakin minivan?  but dave did get to drive it...so that's a plus 

so the moral of the story is: "don't buy a car in searcy"
