Switchfoot in Vancouverville

On the Rainy Monday night, Switchfoot came to Vancouverville. At the last minute, I decide to go to see them altought I felt quite exhausted from a day of work. I am a big fan of them and owns all their cds up to now. It was such an exceptional good show. It was performed in the Croatian Culture Center 10 minutes away from my house, so that was really convenient for me to go. It was a small venue so I get to see the band really closely. I was standing in the really front and I never had that experience. The most exciting thing is that I almsot touched the lead singer Jon Foreman. He rushed off the stage and ran right besides me since I was on the side of the stage. He booked all the way to the back of the venue and started to sing there.

It was such a good show and I like the fact that the band is really audience focused. So if Swtichfoot is stopping at your town, it is a good concert to go. :)

Adios, Keep it real.

Memory of T.W.

I was just randomly flipping through my stuff and I found this envelope which contains my history in Trinity. By history, the documents inside the envelope almost cover the entire T.W. experience. First is the completion of the ESL course cerficate with the entrance letter to Trinity. Then, there are three contracts with student life more specifically with International student program on campus. Lastly, there is this certificate of achievement of Habitat for Humanity in East Bay California. All these documents stir up my memories about Trinity, the up and downs. I haven't really realized how big the four-year Trinity experience has been a part of my life. I couldn't really believe that I finished on my own. Yes, I didn't finish Trinity on my own. It was Jesus, Friends and Community on my back that support me.

Gotta go to bed now.

Love ya guys all.

Update

I looked my Xanga and find out that the most recent entry was almost two months ago. I felt necessary to write a little bit. Christmas means family time to a lot of people but I was quite alone except for Christmas Day with the Davies. Christmas is always a mysterious and exciting season for me. Incarnation - God transforms people's perspective through presenting himself physically to his creation. Christ obyed God's will and born with the purpose of redeeming his people. During this Christmas season, two opposite words have hit me - Light and Darkness. I loved what John have described in the beginning of his gospel. The word has become flesh and it was like a light to the darkness surrounding it. Chirst is the light and answer to this world and many of you have encouraged me by being the lights to the different worlds that you were in.

I am currently busy with my work and also preparing for my IELTS English Language Test.

Love you all

Riding Alone For Thousands of Miles

"People never know my obession with Chinese folk opera. I've been drawn to them because they mirror my life. I've come to realize that I'am the actor behind the mask. I've tried to fool myself and everyone close to me. My true feelings have eluded me until now. I have not allowed myself to acknowledge them. "Father," It is not the Opera that is important, I now see that loved ones should not mask their true feelings for one another."
~From Movie Riding Alone For Thousnds of Miles
