| Ok, I've decided to go backwards today.....tonight that is.... So, today has been interesting. I know it is late right now, so I'm actually talking about Monday. oh nevermind! this is too confusing....starting from last monday...there we go. Monday we went walking with the Longs. It was our last day to say good-bye to Elizabeth! She went on a big trip to Austraila! ! So anyhow, we walked around the park, we said our sweaty good-byes, and went home.
Tuesday was more fun. We had the usual day at home (playing with petey, swimming, cleaning, practicing, reading....) then we went to CFAF. But, we only had one class! The advanced String Ensemble (+ 2 flutes... ). Zeke and Josh went out of town for the whole week. To Alabama for TaeKwonDo training with Master Bushnell. So anyhow, enough about them...After the string ensemble it was so weird not having TKD...instead I spent my time (while mom taught a private student and talked with Mrs. Hayden) talking to Courtney. We talked...and talked....then it started to thunder and lighting...no rain yet. Then it all came down! lots of it! We watched it and listened to it and continued talking till our mom's were ready to send us out in the rain to get the cars. hehe! but thats ok, a little rain never hurt anyone. I really should go to bed now, so i will...i'll continue this when I get home tomorrow...when everything is back to normal....yay! ttyl! Back to it: Wednesday was the usual. I don't remember anything inparticular happening. We went swimming I know. And I'm pretty sure I was trying to teach myself some things with the flags....hehe! not working out too well! ! Thursday was AMAZING! First of all, we did the usual at home, then around 4 or 5 ( I can't remember...and its not that important anyhow...) Megan and Melanie came over, and so did John Ellis, and so did Mrs. Minkoff. and of course there was Mom, me and Petey. We all got in the car and headed to the DCI compotition!!! YEAH!! It was soooooo amazing! We met Courtney and Mrs. Hayden there, and the Halls. We took our seats in the stands. I was right on the 50 yard line! wahoo! We wipped down the wet bleachers with paper towels, then I took my seat beside John and Pete, and with my purse full of snacks, I go ready to enjoy. The first contestants were ok. They were a smaller group. The second people were amazing! And they only got better! Of course, I think the best band was the Bosten Crusaders. They were awesome! And of course I liked the Blue Stars, and others too. All of it was amazing! Their lines were all so perfect! Their color guard was almost always together! The music gave me CHILLS!!! so amazing! I had so much fun! Oh, and Quien (the guy who got us all the tickets) had us be his cheer people. He would tell us a name (someone we didn't know, but he did) and we would all yell "Go ______!!!" on his count...it was pretty funny! One girl whose name was Alice, turned around when we yelled for her. She looked so confused! ! hehehe! I guess I would be too if I had a group of strangers yelling my name! haha! But it was a fun fun amazing experience! I love it! Friday was spent mainly at the house. Petey and I did our usual fun stuff. Saturday was my last day at home for a while. Pete and I played a lot then too. Then around 8:30 I left for the Bennett's house. I was to baby-sit/house-sit. Shelby is 12, Evie is 10.
Sunday we woke up around 8 and we got ready for church. I gave Evie her medicine, we took care of the animals (they had an outdoor dog and cat, and 2 indoor cats and 1 indoor dog), then we got dressed and got in my car and headed to their church. Shelby went to the younger people's church, and Evie went with me to the usual service. It was very different...I felt like I was at a rock concert. They sang praise music which I do like, but I so prefer having music in my hands....having harmony, having scripture put into music! But thats ok. The sermon was pertty good, it was on anger. Near the end of the sermon we heard thunder outside. Then after the sermon, when we left the big room/gym place, it was pouring outside! a guy with an unbrella took me, Shelby, and Evie to my car, but we were drenched!! I think he was the least wet! haha! ! but yeah, we waited in the car for the rain to slow up a bit...I couldn't see anything! We also had to wipe down the windows because they were so fogged up! Then we went to my house. We played Taboo, and they helped me cook. Then my family got home from church and we all ate lunch. Then Shelby, Evie, Petey and I all went swimming. It wasn't thundering anymore, and it was only sprinkeling a little bit. But we had fun! Spent at least an hour in the water. Then we headed home. At their house we played games, watched movies and talked. We also made a fort and we watched a movie from under it. Through out the whole weekend we watched: Raise your voice (sad movie....), some movie with hilary duff and her sister as modles....High school musical 2, Picture this, and a couple others.
I was there till Tuesday. I left their house around 3:30. In all that time we cooked, baked, played, swam (like 2 to 3 times every day...). We even did some obstical courses...hahaha! those were so funny! And we also took pictures. and played with the little dog they have called Baby. She is so tiny! so cute!....but she bites...grrrr....so yeah, I had a pretty good time...I was happy to go to CFAF on Tuesday. There I taught some students, did the string ensemble, and did TKD. Wednesday I didn't go riding. I was so sore from TKD, and was so tired from the long weekend. So I slept in, and Petey and I spent the day together.
Thursday was CFAF. I didn't to TKD because I had to do flags. Me and Brittney were the only ones there, so we practiced a lot of stuff and had fun. Also Thursday was CFAF's big day for people to come by and try out instruments! I made a couple of new friends! India is 11 and wants to play violin, Katie is 8 and she gave me a hershey kiss (she knows me already! ), and several others. But it was fun! I also got to work with Starlin and Caroline a little bit. It was a fun but busy day. Thursday night the Longs went home with us and we watched the new Avatar episode! ahhhhhhhhh! amazing! Friday was a long but really fun day! We spent the morning cleaning and cooking. Dad and Scott were on the roof (thats just a random point that I want to remember....thats what I woke up to, the banging on the roof! hehe! ). Then around 12 Mrs. Long, Megan, Melanie, Erin and Samantha came over, followed closely by Mrs. Urbina, Lauren, Lana, and Christiana. We all went swimming for an hour or so, then we ate a nice big lunch...followed by dessert! hehe! ! Then we went swimming again, got out again, ate more food. . Then we played some games like bumper pool, air hocky, cards, ext...Then me and Lana went swimming. My hands are so sore from holding on to the side of the pool! ahhhh! but we all had a lot of fun! I miss Elizabeth though!... So, Mrs. Long and Samantha left around 6 or 6:30, then the Urbinas left around 7. Megan, Melanie and Erin stayed with us. We ate supper, then before we knew it, AVATAR TIME!!!!!!!!!!! So at 8 we watched the new episode...I was dissapointed....it was funny, but nothing was really revealed. anyhow, I still can't wait for tonight! ! After the Avatar, the Longs got picked up. Then Petey and I went to Seleena and Willow's house to watch the new Psych. We got there around 9:30. We made a cake in honor of Psych...hehe! ! it looked....bad...haha! but it tasted pretty good! The Psych was pretty good, but I really enjoyed hanging out with friends more.
I have had such a great summer! I love all of my friends! and I have enjoyed the things like the DCI and stuff like that! parties, dances, movie nights, everything! I love it all! well, the Longs are coming over again tonight to watch more Avatar... hehe! so yeah, thats all I have for now!ttyl!

| Wednesday was great! I woke up early an I drove to Mrs. Teri's barn. When I got there I got Jet from her stall and groomed her. Then I watched Mrs. Carla teach Mrs. Teri some stuff in the riding ring (which isn't really a ring...since it doesn't have a fence around it...but what ever! ). Then I pretty much had nothing to do for an hour! So, being my clean freak self, I decided to do some random things around the barn. I dusted, I got cob webs off of the walls and celling of the tack room, and I started to sweep. Then Mrs. Carla came and got me. Then I saddled up Jet and we went outside. Mrs. Carla got on Jet first, so she would be able to help me later. But Jet was being touchy. She had her hoofs clipped the day before, so she was sore. Then Carla said we shouldn't ride her. So I untacked Jet and put her back in her stall. I was quite disapointed. But then Mrs. Teri called one of the boarders. She asked if I could ride the horse Scottie! And the owner said yes! Wahoo! Scottie looks so much like Guess! Same face and everything! He just isn't as short...or round. ! So I quickly got him out, groomed and tacked him up and we went to the ring. I got to talk to Matt a little while too. I hadn't seen him in over a year! Anywho, I got on Scottie and we began! We warmed up with all of the walking, and trotting and changing direction stuff, then we got to cantering. Oh, it was so nice riding him! And being in an English saddle too! hehe! IT was a lot of fun! Can't wait till next week! Wednesday afternoon when I got home, Pete and I did some major cleaning, decorating, and baking...hehe! ! Then Elizabeth, Megan and Melanie came over at 6. We went swimming, ate supper, and then we surprised Melanie with a birthday cake! But we didn't eat it till after we watched Kung Fu Panda! haha! good movie! very funny! Not quite what I expected though...don't really know why. . Anyhow, Later we ate cake and ice cream, and after that we went into Petey's room. It was all decorated with sreamers and balloons. And his room is really colorful anyhow. So we played games and stuff in there! so fun! We eventually went to bed...sometime during the night! haha! !
Thursday we woke up around 9 or something. We ate a nice un-healthy breakfast and started doing stuff. We took a walk to the lake, we went swimming, and talked and started writing our stories. Then we had to go to CFAF. We had the usual classes and everything. Only I had to teach the color guard because Christina wasn't there. I was quite confused, but at least I taught them how to march! And that is very important in MARCHING band...ya know? hehe! Then we had TKD. was it thursday that we played "ninja ninja turtle".....? its like duck duck goose...only cooler...hehe! !
Friday was pretty interesting as well. We spent the whole day cleaning!!! Wow! But we got a lot done! the house looks 20 times better! seriously! And then at 6, people started showing up for a little 4th of July party thing. Molly and John Ellis were the first to show up, then Marie, then the Longs, then Seleena. We had a lot of fun! We did a little bit of dancing by the pool, and we did some eating of pizza and other snack things, and we went swimming. Of course, right when I got my bathing suit on, it started to rain outside. But I jumped in the pool a couple of times anyhow. . Then we dried off, watched the Emperor's New Groove, and then we played twister! haha! fun stuff!
Saturday Petey and I slept in again...that felt good! ! And we spent the day cleaning, and stuff. Then at 7 the Z's came over for supper. Seleena brought her #1 cookies! THey are the best! eeeek! love 'em! ! Then we watched some Teen Titans...I hadn't seen any of those in a while! I love Robin! ! Then we went swimming. It started raining for us too...but it was awesome! it was pouring! And we continued swimming till we saw thunder. Then we got out...hehe! Then we dried off in the sun room and were playing a copy-cat game! haha! it was so funny! Then the power went out...we heard *gasp* around the room....then the lights all came back on. Then everyone sighed....rats! it would have been so much fun to light candles and have the power out for an hour or so...but thats ok. After that we played guestures downstairs. so fun! I love that game!
Today was very nice! Our preacher was a guest preacher. Dr. Carrick. He has the coolest accent! I love it! And his sermon was on Genesis 17. The sermon was on baptism. The second sermon was preached by Mr. Crowe. It was on Genesis 3-4. It was on God's promises. Even in the first chapters of the Bible, the crusher of the serpent's head is mentioned. And we all know that Jesus Christ crushed the head of the devil. It's pre-destination, something that so many don't understand. And it is hard to understand, but it's true. God planned everything out from the very beginning.
Well, I guess thats all for now! ttyl!

| This may take a while...I'm two weeks behind. So grab your popcorn and sit back.
The day after my last post (I suppose it was Thursday June 19th....grrrr...) was the usual type Thursday. Work around the house, play, swim, and then CFAF. As I remember, I didn't do the jazz ensemble, I helped mom with her beginning band players. Then we had TKD. I don't remember what exactly we did...but I'm sure I hurt myself sometime... hehe! jk! oh, well, decorations came in the mail when we got back from CFAF...then mom and I went shopping and got some other stuff that we needed for the party, then we met dad and Pete at the church. We stayed till about 2:30 or 3 decorating....particularly (sp?) the beautiful under the sea murial (sp?)....[rats, thats two mis-spelled words in one sentence...this is getting worse.... ]. Anyhow, we finally got the thing up on the wall, and it looked amazing! So we left happy...and tired.
Friday the 20th was the big day! me and Elizabeth's graduation party! We woke up kinda late, due to the fact we were up so late....hehe! But we got to work. We got decoration things ready, food ready, and got our cameras and batteries charged. Pete and I met the Longs around 3 I think. We started blowing up balloons, setting up other decorations, and setting up me and Elizabeth's picture tables....Then Zeke came to help us...but Pete and I had to leave and go get dressed. the party started at 6. Not many people made it on time...hehe! We really didn't have a huge crowd, but nearly everyone that came was a very good friend of ours. . Oh, and G'dad brought a projector machine and did a slide show of pictures he took when he did scuba diving! it was awesome! I wish I could do something like that! What I really wish is that I could have known my G'dad when he was younger...I wish I could have watched him do all of those cool things! so great! I love Mamie and G'dad! And of course Mamie brought Strawberries for me! hehe! The party didn't have much dancing...I danced with Megan, Zeke, and Pete.. But we did get the slide show, we did the limbo a couple of times, we did a circle dance thing to "Under the Sea", we took pictures with all of the decorations, we ate yummy food, and we hit everyone with pool noodles...hehe! it was fun! I do wish more people had come, but it was still fun. the pictures were great! after the party we had a lot to clean up. We got home at 11ish. I think I went swimming, then went to bed.
Saturday was really fun too! I slept in again...and when I woke up I worked with Petey doing random jobs around the house, then we went swimming. Then I had to get ready to go to John's E.'s birthday party. So I put on one of my prom type dresses and mom and Pete dropped me off at John's house. John and Jason were the only ones there at the time. I went in, got my picture with the birthday boy, then we three sat and talked while the other guests showed up. Next in was a friend of John's that I had never met before. Antony. After him came Diana and Josie (I think that was her name), then Jordan and Jonathan W. And Joseph Bowman, and Karen Watson, and Courtney, and Matthew D. and there was John's mom and John's sister. We all got to dance and have fun! it was great! I quite enjoyed myself.
Sunday I went to choir....I was there early apparently...cause I parked my car, and no one else was there... ! but someone unlocked the door after about 15 or 20 mins. Then people started to show up. Michael M conducted, and we actually sounded better than usual. I was happy. The sermon was preached by Mr. Crowe. It was very good! It was on Genesis1. The sermon was basicly on how to defend the Bible. The Bible is not some made up story. It is a history book! Just read 1st Chronicals! all of those names, all of those dates, its incredible! But yeah, I don't want to wirte out a whole argument on here....hehe! but it was a great sermon on how to defend our faith.
Monday was pretty normal. We went walking with the Longs and that was fun! we went on a trail again...through woods, up and down hills, and everywhere else! so fun! And we went home and went swimming. Then the usual.
Tuesday was very different...in a fun way! Petey and I woke up early because it was Mom's Birthday! ! We woke up, and got to work. We cleaned the house (or...as much as we could in that short amount of time...) and we decorated the dinning room and kitchen like Star Trek. We gave mom a Star Trek party! she loves Captian Kirk! hehe! Petey dressed like a robot, Robot 889 was what I called him....mainly I just called him '889'. I was just a random leutenant (sp?). I dressed as much like a Star Trek crew member as I could...it was pretty funny! Anyhow, we also got a big piece of cardboard and put it in front of the door way into the dinning room. When mom came down the steps, 889 gave me the signal and I pulled the cardboard out of the way, making my best machanical noise as I did. This was all to imitate the automatic doors from Star Trek! hehe! She thought we were hiliarious! but I guess that was the point! Then we made her a nice galatic pizza, we got her a cool pool wraft, we all went swimming (I really don't think the water was good for 889... ), and we watched Star Trek....Little did I know that I had forgotten that I had students at CFAF....oops.... Later Mamie and G'dad took our whole family out to O'Charlies for supper for Mom's birthday. We had a lot of fun, and mom got a free piece of cake...it was 5 layers!!!! !!!! it was amazing! hehe! We had a lot of fun! happy Birthday Mom!
Wednesday was different also. I woke up early and I got to go to Mrs. Teri's barn! I got to learn a bunch of new things, and I got to ride a big black horse named Jet. She was really sweet! Then only bad thing was that I had to use a western saddle....and I hadn't riden in a year! and I'm not used to a western saddle at all! But it was fun, and I don't know how long we rode, but it was great. I only did walk and trot with Jet because I needed to get used to her, and she needed to get used to me, so...I guess it all worked out since I was uncomfortable anyhow. ....the saddle was a bit to the left too....maybe my left side weighs more than my right?
thursday was the usual....only Petey and I were getting all excited about the trip!
Friday was a big day. Mom and I went shopping for stuff for the trip, and Petey and I packed our bags.
Saturday morning we woke up and got ready to go. We loaded all of our stuff into the mini van, and we headed to Big Canoe. It didn't take too long to get there. Pete and I played in the back, took some pictures, and talked....we probably annoyed mom and dad half to death! ! hehe! We finally made it to our cabin. It looked weird from the outside, but it was beautiful! we loved it! we unloaded our stuff and we looked around. Over the weekend we watched some movies: Piglet's BIG movie (which stunk....), the Man from Snowy River, Because of Winn Dixie (that doesn't sound like a guy dog's name...I'm sorry...), The Birds (Petey wanted me to watch that...I hated it with a passion...I hate retarded movies that have not point....horror movies just aren't for me..especially when there is no reason for the horror...if you know what I mean), You've got Mail (really cute) and Minisoda Cuke (veggie talkes...Pizza Angel! ) Saturday we went by a little park and we took a look around. We decided we would wait till MOnday to go there. We spent the day relaxing...or at least mom and dad did. Pete and I did all kinds of weird stuff! We played new board games, we watched movies, we played hide and seek, we played circus...haha! and follow the leader, and we played on a play ground...haha!! We also roasted marshmellows outside! Fire is so amazing! I've never really looked at it that closely before. I had so much fun first eating my marshmellows, then must sticking a stick in the fire and playing with it....hehe! !
Sunday was spent reading the Bible, And we enjoyed an amazing light show! God provided that for us! We all sat on our back screened in porch of the cabin, we sat on a couch, and we watched the lighting, and we listened to the thunder, and the rain, and the wind. it was really amazing! Oh, and we all played Clue...hehe! Monday we went to the park place. We swam in the pool...and I didn't like it. It had mineral water in it or something...it tasted gross! BLAH! But we swam for a while...I hate swimming in public pools...people were watching us...life guards too...creepy. Then Pete and I went on the rock/water slide. That was fun! it was pretty fast on your knees! though, I hurt my legs...got some cuts and scratches...but I still did the slide a couple more times, just cause it was fun. Then we went back to the pool. Later Pete and I went on a walk, and met Dad on the other side. Then we spotted some black berries and Pete and I went back there on the trail to get some for G'dad. Then we went back to the cabin. We ate a nice lunch and supper, we played games, and then we packed up. Oh, we also went on a Indian Mounds trail. We saw stacked rocks! isn't that amazing!!!!! ! hehe! and we saw three deer...cute! oh, also on the way to the cabin from the store on one of these days, Mom and Dad made Pete and I walk to the cabin...haha! they wanted peace and quite I guess.
We played Clue two nights in a row, Saturday night and Sunday night. Both times it was Mrs. White...hehe! me! ! first in the library with the knife...second time in the conservatory with the candle stick...boy, I'm bad! hehe!
Well, we had so much fun! I loved it!
today was the usual. Work around the house, CFAF, students, and TKD. IT was nice having a break.
ok, thats all for now! I'm sure I'll have plenty to right about in a couple of days! see you tomorrow Megan! love ya!

| So Thursday was another day of work, practice and CFAF. I don't remember anything happening inparticular...
Friday was pretty crazy! The first part of the day was spent cleaning and swimming. Then our family left for a little church....far away from here ( I don't really know where..it took about and hour or more to get there). On the way I read my book 'Wuthering Heights' most of the time. It is so well written! I can't put it down! ! Anyhow, we got to the church and we waited for some other people (we were actually kinda early...or at least on time! ). Then we went inside and mom and I practiced some stuff on violin and piano. Mom, Zeke and I are playing for my cousin Alex's wedding. He is marrying Sylvia. (1+1=2). Anywho, we played while the bridesmaids and groomsmen practiced walking into their places and we did all of that fun stuff. It was so weird! Several of my cousin's looked completely different! One cousin inparticular...it was sad. . After practicing we went to a little restaurant and watched a slide show of Alex and Sylvia. It was really cute and sweet. . Then we ate supper. It was so weird because Pete and I got in line for food before anyone else in our family (Josh was with us too by the way...he is playing drums while Zeke plays piano and sings at the reception after the wedding...), so we had our plates filled and we went to a table by ourselves....the bride to be and Alex noticed us and told us to come sit with everyone else. Pete and I weren't going to be rude, so we did. We sat right across from the happy couple. but then Zeke and Josh went and sat where Pete and I were at...grrr....but it was fine. Petey and I ate quickly and joined Zeke and Josh. Then Sylvia brought me and mom a present for playing for them. I got a photo box! I love stuff that involves pictures! ! So we had fun, lots of family time.
Saturday was pretty much the same. We played, worked, and then we got ready to go to the wedding. We played for the wedding and almost everything went well. It was awkward when Zeke and I played the "here comes the bride" song...because she didn't come out! we played through it a total of 4 or 5 times! hehe! but it was fine! at least they got married! ! After the wedding was the reception. We ate, and Pete and I sat together and talked. Then my uncle Mike's dad came and talked to me about his grandson at NGA....haha! I think he wants us to meet eachother! ! ! hehe! haha! We stayed till after I got cake. then I was satisfied! haha! then we went home.
Sunday was really weird! I had no idea until the night before that we would be visiting our cousin Cole's church! We woke up extra early and we got ready and picked up Mamie and G'dad and headed towards their church. It was a long way away, and me, Pete and Zeke were all squished in the back....I read the whole time. . We made it to the cute little church! I was really pleased with it! I wish it wasn't so far away! I think that church is the closest church to ours (besides Christ Strevel's church that is...). The sermon was good, and the whole reason we went there was for Cole and Joanna (his wife)'s baby Leighanna to be baptized! So sweet! cute little girl! but it was fun, and the sermon was really great too! the sermon was from Proverbs 31:10-31. For women to become excellent as described in the passage, we need excellent husbands! (this sermon was picked because of Father day). God made man and woman to complete eachother. The woman is the follower, not the leader. Therefore the leader must be a good example for the follower. When there is a problem with the wife, it is the problem of the husband. I think that is one of the biggest problems with the world is that the blame is always passed on. After the sermon we all went to Cole and Joanna's house. We ate lunch there with Cole and his family, Uncle Mike, Dane and his girlfriend, Jesse, Joanna's sister, Joanna's parents, and a couple other people too. We had a lot of fun! lots of family time! I finished my book when I got home...I'm not really sure if I liked it...it was one of those books that I couldn't put down, but it wasn't happy...everyone in that book had a horrible life! but at least in the end a girl and guy fell in love (which I knew they would since they met eachother earlier on in the book! ). but yeah, I enjoyed it, it was mysterious, romantic, and kinda creepy too.
Monday was fun! Elizabeth went shopping with Petey and me. We went to party city for some stuff for our Friday night party, then we went to Wal-mart for some other party supplies, and then we went to target too! it was cool because that was really the first time I had been shopping with a friend. I mean, there was that time that Josh helped me pick out shoes...but haha! I don't know if that counts! hehe! at home we worked...and swam. nuf said.
Tuesday was more work, then CFAF stuff. Cassidy was at the string ensemble, and I got to talk to her a bit! she is so nice! ! Petey and I didn't stay for TKD because we were tired. We went home and went swimming instead.
This morning we were going to go walking, but mom wasn't feeling well so we didn't. My throat was weird this morning too....I don't quite get it...it was really scratchy...but after cereal it was better! the rest of the day we worked, and went swimming. AUnt Joni and Joseph and Jennifer came to swim with us too! we had fun! And guess what? we got 2 wave runners and something else out of our driveway! yay!
well thats all I guess!
| | |
| Sunday night we went to Wal-mart. Pete and I were having so much fun! in the car, in the store, in the car again...hehe! ! It seems as if we get closer and closer! For a while I felt like we were drifting apart because he was going to one school and I was going to another school...He had friends that I didn't know, and I had friends that he didn't know. It was very hard for a long time, but ever since summer, things have been fine and dandy. . I'm currently reading Wuthering Heights, and the friendship between Heathcliff and Cathy reminds me of Petey and me. Not quite like that, we aren't little devils like the characters in the book....but in the book they really care about and love each other. They are best friends!....evil best friends, but still best friends! I love Petey so much! I really don't know what I would do without him! I don't know what I'm going to do when he becomes a teenager! ! and that is this August! oh no!...well, I really don't believe he will change...not too much that is. Sunday night was absolutely horrible! We went to bed pretty late...around 3....shhhh! don't tell anybody! Pete and I were talking... . Anyhow, we fell asleep eventually, and I woke up at 4:20 because my toe (that got stung on Saturday morning) was itching like crazy!!!!!!!!Grrrrr!!!!!!!!!! I woke up I guess because I was scratching my foot up against my bed or something...maybe I kicked the wall too...I don't know. But I woke up, scratching my itch (I almost said itching my itch... ). Then I put some skeeter stuff on it to help the itching. Then I fell back to sleep around 5:10 or so. Monday... Then I woke up again around 6 or 6:30....somewhere around there....with the same problem! My foot was in such pain! I never thought an itch could hurt so badly! ! Anywho, I just stayed up. I read for a while, then I woke Petey up a little before 7 (we had been planning on getting up early anyhow). We ate breakfast together, but Petey wasn't feeling well so he went back to bed. I stayed up, did dishes, laundry, and read ( and took care of the dogs...but thats a given). Then at 9 I woke Petey up again. He had to get ready to go. Jackson and his mom were picking Petey up at 9:30 to hang out with Jackson. So Petey went to their house and mom and I went to the park with the Longs. Me, Elizabeth, Megan, Erin and Samantha played basket ball, and did some races...wow! We always have so much fun...and we get a work out too! ! After that we went home. Mom and I did some work around the house. I was raking in the front yard again...this time with shoes! ! I did NOT want to get stung again! Anyhow, I raked, and raked, and raked some more. Every now and then there was a big stick in the way that the rake couldn't handle. So I would pick them up and throw them in the woods. I threw a good many (that sounds really red neck like doesn't it?) in the woods and then I threw another one, but as I threw it, it took some of my skin with it....not a lot, but it did cut the center of my hand....and I am very sensitive when it comes to my hands. What I really hate is when you get a cut, and your skin is still there....flapping....(I'm really sorry, this is kinda gross....but it is for memories sake! ). So I went ahead and got some of it off...then I decided I would just go swimming and let the water take care of the rest. Then when I was swimming I stubbed my pinky toe on the side of the pool! ahhh! my poor pinky toe! I guess everybody hits their pinky toes all the time too though.... ! It is just always out there in the way! haha! Well, the rest of the day I worked, and played when Petey got home. Oh! and Mamie and G'dad came over for supper! We cooked a nice supper!....it was hard though, because mom and I both had to teach students...therefore it was hard to watch the food...hehe! but we got through it, only burning the green beans (which didn't look that great anyhow...). So we had a nice night. I love having Mamie and G'dad over! !
Tuesday was interesting. I woke up and my toe and foot were even more swollen than the night before! and I even took some type of medicine! ahhhhh! medicine only seems to worsen whatever I have! ! Anyhow, we went swimming, played games, and worked around the house. Then around 4 we went to the church for CFAF ensembles. I made a bunch of copies, then I played with the string ensemble. Then we had TKD. We did a lot of weapons stuff! it was so fun! ! Well, we didn't get to go home till about 9ish...just because that's how it always goes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. *sigh...*
Today has been a great work day! Mom, Pete and I woke up earlyish and went walking with the Longs. We started off by playing a bit of basket ball....then we kids went on an adventure! So, It started off with me, Elizabeth, Megan, Melanie, Petey, Erin and Samantha all walking out of the gym...(dramatic music please...). We walked into the shade of trees for shelter from the burning hot sun. We weren't exactly sure what to do...we stood around and admired the beautiful woods around us. Then we noticed a sigh on a tree that said "The Hobbits Hole" (was that what it said?). So we at least knew where we were. Then we decided to go left. We followed the bike trail (but we re-named it the Serpent's trail). It was so fun! We went through the woods, through fields, and in opened sunny spaces. Several times we would skip the Serpent's trail to cross some bridges. We crossed two bridges...we didn't name them. At one point we were on a big, slowly going up hill. The path was for a car, it was gravel. Then we spotted the Serpent's trail again, so we followed that...it went to the right. We boldly followed our Navigator Elizabeth. The trail went to the right, then swooped back to the left...and went right back to the gravel road. This didn't really get us anywhere... . But it continued in front of us! Yay! So we followed it!....then it swooped to the right and crossed the gravel...whatever...we kept following it, and we started jogging/runnning just for fun...and because we were being attached by killer butterflys! ! (more dramatic music!). So yeah, bugs were jumping out at us everywhere! Once we got to the top of the hill we saw a group of small houses...then Melanie pointed out to us the park...it was behind us to the left. Wow! Who knew? I had no idea where the trail lead us...but who cares? George Washington doesn't care! ! We decided to go back to the gym the fun way...down the serpent's pass! Little did we know that we would be chased by killer bugs! Well, I guess we did, but we kept going, for the fun of it. . We kept jogging/running/ walking all the way through the woods, down the hill, through more woods, over the bridge, through the woods, and over the dirt, and over a grassy field...and there it was, the air conditioned gym! (joyous music!)! yay! so we got water, then we went home...The END. Back at home we did work....then went swimming. Then did more work. Today we have gotten a lot done...I'm not as frustrated as before. I just pray that God will send somebody that will buy our house soon!
ok, thats all! ttyl!
