.::i never get tired of this place.  last month, bobby got 2 separate comp offers from Palms (1st offer is 2 comp nights plus $200 gambling money).  the fact that they're offering him free money is pretty cool, but the catch is we must book the room by july 31st either sunday-thursday.  a week after that, he got a 2nd offer (2 comp nights plus 4 complimentary VIP tickets to Palms PJ/Lingerie Party,  valid only july 25th-26th).  so we checked and the 25th and 26th are friday and saturday. so we decided to combine the 2 offers to make it a LONG weekend so that way we can use both offers at the same time.  guest services says it was okay and BAM we got the rooms booked july 25th-july 29th.  so of course, we asked our 2 favorite people (bsong & manwei) to join us in the festivities.  so after work, off to vegas we go!! be back tuesday:

.::i only have 44 pts on my brackets (too many upsets this year).  i still have ucla going all the way so crossing my fingers for them.  so pretty much i'm giving up and rooting for most of the underdogs::.

.::[march madness & vegas baby!]::.

.::march madness is here!! so far all my teams have advanced to the 2nd round except USC, St. Mary's & Drake.  though i knew USC would lose, i still had to be true to my trojan family (besides, i'm sure all the staff & faculty members at work would have a fit if i didn't pick them).  Drake/Western KY was a very good game (OT baby!), but sad that Drake lost because i had them going to the Sweet 16.  Duke/Belmont game was very close and i was hoping to see Duke lose in the 1st round again.  skipped work yesterday & went to the Honda Center to see the 1st round games.  can't wait to see the 2nd round on saturday! for today, the teams i picked advancing to the 2nd round are:  UNC, IN, St. Joe's, Louisville, Butler, TN, Clemson, Vandy, Davidson, Georgetown, Memphis, MS St., TX,  & UConn::.

.::anyways,  i went to vegas 3/7-3/9/08 for steph hui's birthday and had an awesome time with awesome friends. if you have time to spare, here are some details/highlights of the trip and of course pictures for your viewing pleasure. enjoy!::.

[thurs nite]: dinner at bobby's.  steph opening gift #1 from brian (L.A.M.B. perfume).

[fri noon]: pho. playing mario party DS in the car. brian realizing he forgot gift #2 at home (d'oh!) reciting russell peters and friends' episodes the whole wkend. stopping at stateline to gamble.  "vegas baby!!" (our tagline).

[fri evening]: Rio Suites Hotel. bobby complaining to VIP in order to get a bigger suite (instead, was able to take off $120 for the room).  eating at Palm's Hotel & Casino while waiting for linda, jason & gift #3 to arrive.  surprising steph with gift #3 from B (surprise! it's zany & ung - her best friend and boyfriend). drinking, drinking & more drinking! the boys trying to help jason iron his shirt.  it takes 4 guys to figure out how to take apart the ironing board (but it ONLY takes ONE girl to actually do it...ME!!)  on our way to Body English (@ Hard Rock Hotel).  drinking in the taxi & yay for panda express .  entered Hard Rock & circling the casino when the club was only 2 steps from the entrance! you know you're drunk when you try standing a roll away bed up with 2 people strap in it. 

[sat noon]: gawking over jason's new '08 ford f-150 (that truck is huge!!) eating thai food. steph & i eating papaya salad and at the same time grabbed for our drinks & says, "that's hot!!" shopping at the Fashion Mall and reserving Super Smash Bros Brawl.  more gambling. no Rio Seafood Buffet since it was closed for remodeling .  headed for Rio Carnival Buffet & no waiting in the long ass long because of bobby's Platinum status.  linda asking anyone if we want 'herpes' (she actually said 'hairpiece'). 

[sat evening]: girls nite out and headed for stratosphere to see american storm. linda running into the rotating door (and she's not drunk yet!)  went to some ghetto club and they were even cheesier than before (i like them better the first time i saw them).  drinking cheap wine and sitting 4 girls to 3 chairs is no good.  Sean Cassidy is still my fave and Zany is in luv with him, too.  heading back to our hotel for more drinks.   headed to LAX (@ Luxor).  no dancing room and the usual creepy, disgusting, perverted weirdos following us around.  left and headed for Rain (@ Palm's).  running into "Travis"and no waiting in line .  dancing & having fun until some crazy guy kept jumping all over us.  headed for Moon/Playboy Club (also @ Palms') & hoping to see Kendra, Bridget or Holly.  called the boys and they were still chilling/gambling @ Palm's.  we HATE daylight saving time. chilled before heading to Ghostbar (also @ Palm's), but decided to bizzounce. 

[sunday]: our traditional sunday brunch @ TI Buffet.  seeing the Buckeyes' Softball team take up half the buffet and bobby flaunting his USC shirt.  walked back to Fashion Mall and picked up Super Smash Bros Brawl. bye bye vegas and headed for stateline to gamble.  arrived home @ 11pm and steph opening gift #2 (Tiffany's necklace).  the boys playing Smash for 2 hrs even though B had work the next day.
