Hey guys. Please be praying for Shannon and Justin. Shannon is feeling tired and run down, and Justin has been sick all week. He goes to get tests run tomorrow morning, but all they really know is that it might be a kidney stone. So, they are doing at CT scan to find out more. He has some weird things showing up on blood tests, but there isn't anything they can conclude from them. So just be praying. Shannon is frazzled and Justin is in pain. Keep us all in your prayers. praying for my fiance and his family. His grandfather passed away early
this morning. Justin and his parents left earlier today to drive down
to south GA, and his brother Jason and his wife Brandy left later this
evening. Pray for them all that they would have safe journeys, and pray
for the whole family as they are grieving the loss. Thanks. Kaye
Hey guys. It's been a while since I've been on here. I just wanted to
take a minute to say thank you to everyone who has been praying,
thinking good thoughts, sending cards, letters, and even just stopping
someone in our family to say they are praying/thinking about us. About
two weeks ago I ran into a friend of Shannon's and mine from Westwood,
she has gotten married and they moved to Chattanooga. I was talking to
her, and she was asking how we were doing, and I realized she didn't
know about Shannon. It was a weird experience, having made it through
this far in treatment, to run into someone who hasn't heard. I gave her
a brief synopsis of everything that has been going on, and she was
floored. I guess it was hard on me to, because in a way it brought back
all the emotions of the beginning of this journey. I guess I got a
small taste of what Shannon lives with every day. Everyday when she
wakes up, she realizes that her life is forever going to be different.
I guess it made me realize how strong she really is. Anyway, enough
of my rambling, Mom and Shannon are at a wedding shower, and Shannon
seemed to be feeling pretty good this morning. Her and mom decided
about 9 this morning that I had slept enough and woke me up to send me
on a breakfast run. Gotta love it! But, it was good to see her feeling
like tormenting me. Sorry I haven't been in touch as much, life just
