It's already December!
I can't belive it, it feels like 2006 hasn't even started, and now it's almost over.. no way! I start my job on Monday, I'm not gonna lie, I'm alittle nervous. I've never worked in a bank before, I just don't want to mess up and have it come outta my pay check. If anyone is a procrastinator it's me, I haven't even started shopping yet and I have only 23 days left. I pretty much know what I am getting everyone though, it's not like I have to go searching. Whatever, it will get finished reguardless.. Tim's surgery went well, he gets to start work in about 4-6 weeks, please keep him in your prayers for recovery, it's kinda slow right now. gators: 2006 sec champs! | | |

Tim was looking on-line at some devotionals.. and found this quote. I think it pretty much speaks for itself.
"Lord, it's not hard to see why Satan attacks. May I continue to be enough of a threat to him to merit his attention! Don't ever let me become so anemic in my Christian walk that he doesn't need to bother with me. Amen."

| Word for the day.. Temptation - James 1:13-21 No one is exempt from it. You can't hide from it. It's not something you can get away from. It's going to happen, the question isn't "if?" but "when?". Temptation in itself isn't sin, but it can and will lead you away from God. When the temptation starts to become a reality for us we tend to blame shift, trying to blame it on the person, or the situation. In James 1:14 it clearly states... "Everyman is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed." So temptation is from within, it's an inward battle. So, while we are too busy pointing fingers we need to look at ourselves and deal with it. Choose to deal with it, with God's help or choose to not deal with it and let it overcome you. So temptation in itself isn't a sin, it's when you give into it, that's when it becomes sin. And sin will literally steal your life away. It takes your joy and leaves you forever incomplete and wanting. | | |
