Smelly cat So … How do you politely ask someone you work with to shower more often because her hair really stinks? So far all I've come up with is something along the lines of: "Dear work partner, yesterday as we were working together your hair smelled so strongly that I gaggled and my eyes watered. Therefore I must ask that you shower more often and use shampoo, a good one. Oh, nice shoes by the way." Since she has a boyfriend I can not help but to wonder whether one of the following applies to him: A. Dying to tell her to shower more and use shampoo B. Completely without a sense of smell C. Unable to smell her hair due to the strength of his "body odour" D. A huge fan of smelly hair and female body odour. Maybe I should just try singing that song Smelly Cat whenever I’m around her, “Smelly cat, smelly cat why won’t you shower? Smelly cat, smelly cat, your hair really stinks…” The burdens I have to bear (oh! and my poor, suffering nose!) |
