Sitting at the office again...that should not be a suprise. I just thought I would fill ya in on the weekend.

Since I wrote last we were sucked up in a tornado...not really but it seemed that way. I was getting ready to leave the joe town and we were evacuated from our little office that is on the second floor, is an inclosed room (we would have been safe) anyhoo...we get evacuated from our little office and sent to the basement with everybody else who happened to be in the building at the same time. This would include our deans, the board of regents, the girls from the bookstore, and a couple of summer classes. It was a big mess and we had to stay in the basement for 1hour. It was not fun. Then I got to head home which just happened to be the way the storm was headed. Once I got to knoxville I saw a funnel cloud and I floored it (not that in all honesty that would help, but it sounded good at the time) oh, well the funnel cloud never turned in to a big twister and I got to test my patience out in the basement ouf our Student Union. It was okay I guess.

Then on Friday Duane and I put almost 200 miles on the bike. We rode up to Jamesport and then wound our way back through the country. It was beautiful and I love being on the bike so it was GREAT. Then Friday night went to the movies and saw Raising Helen. I thought it was super cute and it was only rated G. They're were not a lot of middle school kids and/or over excessive PDA couples there. That combination made the movie great. It was def. a chick flick or a date movie but whatever. It was great and you left having cried, laughed, and sighing (because of the cute love story)

Then Sat I worked on the planner some more. The dead line is um...passed...Oh, well my hands are tied. Then after that I laid out by the pool the rest of the day and then went to lexington witht he fam for dinner and then came back home and watched mona lisa smiles

Then sunday went to church, lunch, wally world and then laid out by the pool some more. I learned how to crochet the right way. I no longer am making pasties (lol) it's an actual blankie. Then Kris came out and her and I hung out gor old tiems sake. it was great. We had a ton to catch up on and we watched some cute "girl movies" and made brownies that were EXELLENT even if we didn't grease the bottom of the pan :) I really have missed her. No one does girl talk like my Kris. So then we debated about boys and how to tell if they like you or not. And the verdict is in that if a boy calls you to tell you to look at a cloud most likely he kinda sorta likes you...NOT MY OPINION...JUST THE OPINION OF MY LOVE DOCTOR (hahahahahahahaha)

Then monday I crochet more, read a good book, took a nap in the hamic, and worked on my dress for the wedding this weekend. then I watched the OC, gave my room a slight makeover and then went to bed. A very relaxing Memorial day if I do say so my self.

Alright well the planner guy fianlly cld me back so it's off to get busy making a planner... and then I have a meeting at 1pm and then hopefully home will be somewhere after that. :)

Have a blessed week-Kyle

Well, I'm sitting at work trying to kill sometime while I wait for some other people to meet some deadlines for me...then I can get back to work :)

Yesterday was a good day but at the same time was really hurtful to my heart. It's always hard to hear about friends you care about and how they are hurting. It's hard to offer them comfort when the only comfort you know they don't understand. It's hard to give hugs and be there for them when you're apart. It's hard to make things better when it's already been done. You try to make them see their worth, try to make them see that they are valuable, try to show them that even when the world stops loving them there is still someone to run to. It's hard to explain to them that even though they have turned to run and think they have gone so far away He wants them no more...they can't be further from the truth. HE WANTS YOU TO WANT HIM. It doesn't matter how far off the beaten path you are(trust me...I know 1st hand) all you have to do is turn and run to his oppen arms. He'll comfort you, he'll help you through the pain, and he'll never leave your side. All you have to do is ask. So while you are dealing with the worldly things just know that I am here and that I care for you and more important than me caring for you...God hears your crys and wants to help...all you have to do is ask.

I love you and I hope times will get better soon

On other news, I worked on the planner and it will be submitted by the end of today. and I planned our canoe trip and we will be leaving on the 30tt of july and be back aug 1st. Call me if you want the details and want to go

Peace out kids-Kyle

So, life is good up here and joe town and down in the Odessa ville. Oh, the joy of commuting :) Griffon Edge planning is going fairly well. Planners go out to press Thursday and then our first RO program starts June 7th. It's kind of exciting but kind of scary that all the weight of these programs are on our (Cara and mine) shoulders.

I only work two days a week so I find the other 3 days very relaxing. Since I have been home (sine last sat) I have read three books, layed out by the pool, fixed my room up(it's WAAAAY cute) and just chilled out with my bad self. It's been great. I miss my comfort zones here in odessa but Sunday I got to hang out all day in my comfort zone. I drove up for Sunday school and Church and Got to see Andy, Ryan, Holly, Joel, Jim, Brian, Josh, Bebop,Kyler, Zach, Bopeep, Lindsey, Travis, Lisa, Tanya, and baby Mara. Then after church we(Andy,Ryan, Holly, and I) went to Brian's and had a cook out. Then about 3 we went to Zach's graduation party and then there was another graduation party at 6pm at the church went to that. Then Headed home about 8pm. Got to watch the sunset on my way home...it was BEAUTIFUL!!!! it topped off a perfect day :)

Here's a random thought...Do you ever wonder if things are going to be different when you go home for a summer? I mean withg your friends? I know in high school I didn't see anyone during the summer except for the obvious few people. But then last year after my freshman year I didn't talk to my room mates exceppt for like 3 times the WHOLE summer and Ryan I talked to him, maybe twice...what was the deal with that? This summer has been 360 turn around. I think the longest I've gone with out talking to any of the core people in my life is 3 days. That's GREAT!!! It makes life FULL of smiles. Granted I still don't talk to Lawrence much but I did call her last week and I really enjoyed talking to her. Her and I have one of the coolest friendships. We can not talk for weeks and when we pick up the phone it's like we never left each other. She's one of my FAVORITES. :)

Well, I better get off of here and do some actual work. I hope you all are have a great day and if you get bored give me a call b/c more often than not I am not doing anything  Except relaxing!!!!

Peace out drain spout

So, umm yeah, I was supposed to leave school yesterday and head home but I got a better offer and decided to stay up at school for a few MORE days! Wednesday night we went bowling till midnight and then we went and watched naked gun and slept over in the CCF office. Then Yesterday I had training from 8am till 7pm...I was spent!!! Then I came home (R&A room) and took a shower (1st one in two days on top of moving out and training) and ummmm...Went to bed at around 9:50pm :) Then Andy came home around 1 something and I woke up and we talked for awhile. This reminded me of when lauren and I used to talk ourselves to sleep freshman year. Then I fell back a sleep and then woke up this mornig at 9:30.(I got a great night sleep-Ryan's bed was really comfy even though there were no sheets on the bed. Just me, my pillow, and my finding nemo blankie.) Then I got up and went to the bank, went to the mall, went to sonic, and now I'm at work (fun, fun) I don't really know what I am going to do this evening but in the morning is rachel's graduation and then I promise I am going home :) Meh, I'm having a blast...home can wait on me

Well, I guess I'll talk at you later -kyle
