Items my kitten has destroyed/lost/stole since coming to live with me in Jan. :
* 4 houseplants
* 3 dirt spots where she spilled the pots
* 1 Stellar Kart T-shirt with a hole in it from a claw mark
*numerous ponytail holders
* her tag from the vet (laid it on the table , gone the next day)

Well, I did it-- I filed my FAFSFA application for student loans, so we'll see how much I get. I've done a reverse 180-- and decided that I do want to go back to college, rather than take the Resource job. Though about a month ago I had decided that I could handle still being in eduction, I have felt those feelings creep up again of not wanting to be committed to the field, and I can't get rid of them. I don't feel like I put 100% into my job, and with teaching, you have to, otherwise a lot of things suffer. My thinking was that I would feel differently in a different position in the same school. I can't guarrantee that I will still feel burdened about this job either, and that kind of scares me. B/c of that, I knew/know that I have to get out.

I've only told one person about it-- not my principal-- but I'm not sure the reality of the decision has formed yet. I will need to tell my family about the decision, and they probably will be surprised, b/c I just told them like 2 weeks ago I was taking the other Sped teaching job. My principal announced it in our faculty meeting on Wednesday that I was transferring to the position, so now everyone knows. When the announcement is made that I backed out of it, I hope people don't think less of me. But I have to not think about needing their approval-- My God is the only approval I need.

I can't even begin to think about what it's going to be like going back to college and having to move all my STUFF 400 miles. I also don't even want to think about having to leave my friends and my church here. Oy Vey.

Is it too early to start counting down how many days are left in the school year? I don't actually know, but I know it's less than 40. Suddenly, it's going to be a really LONG 9 weeks!!! My kids have Spring Fever, with coming back from Spring Break, and they have/are going to be quite the challenge.  I'm gonna need lots of prayers!! Their favorite past time is talking. *LOL*

Last night, Lish and I went to see Third Day, December Radio, and Revive  in concert. They were all really good, but I didn't get to hear one of my favorite Third Day songs, "Can You Feel It?" Concerts like that are so inspiring, and I would love to be able to go on the road with a Christian rock band and listen to them every night. I have a hard time not standing (or sitting) still when it comes to music; We actually, for the 1st time sat up in the stands, and it was a rather strange thing for me. There were a few times where I wanted to stand up and move to the music (not actually dance, but just kind of "sway" *lol), but everyone else was sitting down, so I did too.  Sanctus Real was supposed to be there too, but they cancelled, which I was really disappointed about. I have their CD, and was really looking forward to seeing them. Revive was still good. I hadn't actually heard of them before, but they rocked out pretty good. They are a band from Australia.
