After defeating Ansem, Sora traveled with Goofy and Donald together until one day, they met DiZ, an extremely mysterious guy who seems to know Sora. Sora decided to see what was going on. After going through all of the floors of Oblivion Castle and defeating one of the person from an Organization, Sora ended up with his memories all messed up. Some were 'gone' and some were fake. Namine, a girl imprisoned in Oblivion Castle, offered to help Sora restore his memories, but in doing so, he must forget everything that had ever happened in the Castle. That includes forgetting about the castle, the Organization, and Namine, herself...
Having no choice, Sora must restore his memories. Otherwise, he'll forget his friends, his childhood and past. The promise he made, one that touched Namine, said that he'll forget her, but if he tries hard enough he'll remember her someday. And when they meet again, he promises to thank Namine. Together with Donald and Goofy, Sora said good-bye to Namine and prepare to sleep for 1 year to restore his memories.... Kingdom Hearts 2 takes place one year/or immediately after Chain of Memories, when Sora wakes up to continue his journey... -Angel x Wings |
