| out of hiding...and done with boards...i hopeso i've been awol this past year...2nd year of med school was fun, busy, and now officially done i hope. I just finished taking both the USMLE and the COMLEX so i'll find out the scores in 6 weeks which will determine my future.
i'll probably write a nice long recap of my past year when i'm having a margarita in cabo this upcoming week before i have to get back and start the 2nd half of med school on wards. as for now...it's time to make myself forget about the boards

| Currently in PragueI scrubed in my first surgery today as the primary assistant here in Prague. I'm doing a week of Gyn/Ob, the Peds Neuro, and finally Gen Surg. ... It's pretty nice over here how the just throw you right into the mix of things. Suprisingly, the ORs here have all the same high tech equipment that you would find anywhere else and the doctors do know a bit of english too.
Out of the different cities in Europe that I've been to so far, Prague is by far the best one to hang out in and have a great time. Everywhere else is just crowded and a rip off. What else is better than 75 cent large premium beers?

| ParisIt's already been a whole week here and i'm exhaused from all the walking and heat that i think i've lost 5 lbs.... some of the highlights so far have been visits to the house of moet and chandon, norte dame, the louvre, eating escargo and frog legs with roty, to just name some of the things. It's definately nice to start meeting up with other people since nobody seems to like to speak english here. Anyways... i'm off to Nice, MonteCarlo, Cannes, and then Venice for the next few days before going to Prague for 3 weeks so drop a line or email me if you're in the area.

| Offically done w/ MS1It seems like forever but as long as I passed the test this morning  i am done with my first year of med school. I'll only be in california for 2 more weeks then off to Paris, Italy, Prague, Austria, Germany, and London thru the end of the summer so if you're here, or going to be there, then let me know. whew... time to keep on drinking.
