| I really don't like those guys that hit on every girl they see.

| I know I've said it before, but in my efforts to study at 4 AM it has become apparent to me that my former love of horror movies has had quite a large negative effect on me. Darkness seems to present a threat that isn't there, and every shadow is some sort of monster. I know they're not really there, but it's really getting to me. I get this scared feeling in the dark or when I'm alone in the middle of the night. I need some help in separating myself from this part of my past.

| As much as I love my horror movies, I think that the time has come to clear my mind of that stuff. It's pretty hard to focus on God and being a servant when you keep getting random thoughts of undead creatures screaming about consuming human body parts. But it's been my experience that quitting things isn't as easy as it may seem...more to come later when I'm not all tired and stuff.
It hasn't always been this way
I remember brighter days
Before the dark ones came
Stole my mind
Wrapped my soul in chains
Now I live among the dead
Fighting voices in my head
Hoping someone hears me crying in the night
And carries me away
Chorus:
Set me free of the chains holding me
Is there anybody out there hearing me?
Set me free
Morning breaks another day
Finds me crying in the rain
All alone with my demons I am
Who is this man that comes my way?
The dark ones shriek
They scream His name
Is this the One they say will set the captives free?
Jesus, rescue me
Chorus
As the God man passes by
He looks straight through my eyes
The darkness cannot hide
Chorus 2:
Do you want to be free?
Lift your chains
I hold the key
All Power on Heaven and earth belong to me
(Repeat)
You are free
You are free
You are free

| Ok, real stuffs this time.
I look back over the last few months and I see how much of a change God has made in my life; then I wonder why I keep trying to change it myself...
As usual, women are driving me insane...and I'm drowning in homework. Yay. If God didn't give me strength, I don't think I'd have any sometimes.
