one more day of freedom =T  i regret not doing so many things - like starting on the TLA paper, college stuff, etc; but then this summer still turned out to be one of the best summers i've had.  July was basically dominated by schoolwork from Columbia, but it was so fun!  i met so many interesting and talented people at the program.  i remember reading some of the works during workshop sessions and being stunned because the pieces were so amazing.  and then there were those times in the chief editorial group when we laughed about the dumbest things. (frozen yogurt, soft ice cream lol)

then - then there was dragonboat.  i don't know why i became so obsessed with it.  i remember the first practice we had at the end of may.  when we stepped onto the dock, i was telling myself that i probably wouldn't stay for more than 2 weeks.  i'm so glad i stayed~!  the people i met were really cool, and we all learned something new at every practice, whether it was about the sport or our teammates.  and that nyc dirt-infested water - i love it.  lol.  until the next season, i think we'll all be thinking about those cold nights that we spent out on the boats screaming at each other to keep paddling.

well, that's all over now, and i guess i'm kind of looking forward to senior year.  maybe i could get someone to worry about all those college applications and TLA papers for me hehe.  hopefully i'll start being nicer to people this year; otherwise, kim will be my only friend by the end of the year lol.  wait...i think she is my only friend haha =p  i wish i could have that freshman-friendliness going again, but it'll probably never happen heh.  i just hope i can get all the school stuff out of the way so i could have fun this year hehe.
