| A Taste of SummerDoes anyone else get an incredible urge to cook in the summer? I have been baking, I never bake, at least not voluntarily. Lemon Meringue Pie, just can't get enough of it. So pretty, so tangy, so refreshing.
Seriously, I think I have achieved summer time pie perfection! Speaking of perfection... Lucy continues to amaze me with her sunny flexible disposition. May she continue to be one of those eternal summer people!

| What I meant to say was...I am a bit preoccupied, but who wouldn't be?

| Other things to do...You know, I read other people's posts almost everyday. I love knowing what is going on with my friends (and the few people whose life I just eavesdrop on) but for the most part I can't be bothered to post. Sometimes I think interesting thoughts and muse they would make an intriguing post but I sit down to write and something else inevitably steels my attention away.
like right now, the baby is crying... I should tend to that.
more later, maybe.

| We welcomed Lucy early!Meet Little Miss Lucille Grace! She was born on February 13 at 5:23 am. She weighed in at a tiny 5 lbs. 1 oz. and was a lanky 19" long. She came at 35 weeks, just over a month early. She is small but her lungs are functioning fine and she didn't have to spend anytime in the nicu. She is struggling a bit with jaundus but is less yellow everyday.
We are so in love! I can't believe she is ours, it is truly amazing!
