| introducing donna briggs... sdfsfsfffirst of all,.. i apologize for the annoying date in the corner of each and every photo... because they are the wrong date, but even more so because its just wrong to do that to a photo. and in yellow? who makes those decisions at kodak?
i don't know how to work my camera ;)
ok, ok, here we go. this is the wedding of donna mccord, documented with incorrectly dated photos.
this is stacie putting some finishing touches on here speech for the toast. the vale going on, and donna instructing the bridesmaids as they practice the suprise-for-trent-song-and-dance that they planned for the reception! ha. it was actually quite cute. look at those little flower girls! really cute. zoe is the one not doing the moves and she was such a doll! Alexis is the one following in her cousins footsteps(donna) bound to be center stage (by demand) where ever she goes! hehe
aww! my dad and donnas tears the fam me, donna, stacie. what is happening with my shoulder - looks uncomfortable- or just wrong.
on january 21st in the year of our lord two thousand and eight,.... wait. eh-hum, well anyway, here is donna doing her song for trent and the girls swaying and being chorographed in the background. I don't know that he was embarrassed, but he didn't seem like he liked being confined to that chair in front of everyone the entire time. haha! notice bridesmaid orange - she is trents aunt, who as you may have been wondering about, IS in actuality, a body builder.
other bridesmaids are, purple: trents older sister, blue: donnas aunt val, teal: donnas other aunt ????, pink: trents younger sister, we know orange, and then yellow: stacie
there's that stacie again! about to take a delicious bite from my head - and then me wanting to kiss her with duck lips aww. our only pic of the night. this was after we were nice and sweaty from being dancing queens all night. There were 300+ people at the reception and I think only about 20-25 were dancing (total) so that just freed up adequate space for us to showcase our fab moves! hehehehe! | | |
| i ventured out to the country to find myself a bicycle there were more than I expected some old, and some less old ;) so i did some test drives and then decided to give this green one a go! the bike has a home, and the girl is happy. the end. (this post is dedicated to ashleigh for her love of bicycles) | | |

wow! spring has totally sprung, and its in full force! The drastic change in seasons has made everyone in this town high on beautiful weather. People are driving crazy, the sidewalks are FULL of bikers and walkers, and believe it or not, people are actually smiling again! It is absolutely wonderful. If it weren't for this terribly beautiful weather I might not make it through exam week alive. ... or at least pleasant.

| bullshead
Bullshead is the neighboring bar and grill to The Chop House. I work at the Chop, and so many nights after a grueling shift of serving the elite guests from the Grand Amway, The Devos Place, The JW Marriott, and the notably wealthy socialites of GR, some of us will retreat to Bullshead for an underrated, middle class social hour of our own. no bow ties, no madam's or sir's, no bs. many discussions on philosophy, religion, relationships, education, money, carbon footprints, design, architecture, movies, greed, economy, culture, counterculture and on and on.
The difference between The Chop House and Bullshead, is simply the price point. You won't find white linen tablecloths and perfectly polished wine stems on your table at Bullshead. You won't find a $60 steak on their menu or a $250 bottle of wine. Yet the you also won't find nearly as many pompous and pretentious customers, or fake personalities and faces. I really enjoy much of my job, and meet a great deal of wonderful people, yet I will never ignore the obvious relationship between wealth and elitism. I have never been treated like such a second class human being as in some instances at my current work. ahhh - It all boils down to a persons heart. The first will be last, and the last will be first.
Thank you Bullshead for being a common place where we can come together, take off our masks, wipe our brows, and be simple people who share great conversation.
oh, and maybe I forgot to mention that without those pompous but paying customers, I wouldn't be able to pay my bills and tuition - so that is the compensation I suppose. yes. thats it. ha.
