| Obama - Racism - KingThis is a significant post to me, let me know if you read the whole thing, if you would.
Racism is something I am not a big fan of. Though I do find the black class acts like they are in Hati or third world Africa, they don't try they waste, they know proper english and they ignore it, and "you better sure as hell get uh der way cuz dey ain't gonna take it."
So yeah, i am not racist I promise, I am not a fan of white trash either, or mexican trash, japanish try or any other trash from any race.
The reason I bring this up because as i was scanning the news a couple days ago i came across an article and was titled "Obama's Historic victory" the context was in his success in the Iowa caucuses. When i saw the title i said to my self, "I really hope they aren't talking about his success as a black person" and low and behold.
"That day has now come, at the highest level of American politics. A
black man with a dangerous-sounding foreign name trounced his opponents
in the nearly all-white state of Iowa. And he did so because, after
spending months getting to know him, the people of Iowa stopped seeing
his color and began to admire his character."
what the tar! I never cared that Obama, i loved him from the beginning. You know why? He is young, smart, took on the Clinton name, rose 10% in favor for about 3 months after announcing his entrance into the Presidental race. I didn't like him because he is black, and i never disliked him because he is black. Why are Americans, espessially the press still making a big deal about this kind of thing.
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a
nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of
their character."
America! Lend me your ears! King's dream that each black child would have his character, not his color judged will not be complete are so accepting of that idea that we don't even think to sit back to comment on the success of a black person, because that thought, or the distinction that some are black and some are not, will not have entered our minds.

| Do You?So, its been a few months, I decided I should post. I realized something when I was compelled to update my xanga. My realization was that I don't really like to talk about myself or things that interest me, but when it comes to writing or typing I can talk about whatever for pages and pages but I don't. So much to say and so little attention. In this case I am doomed to enjoying my own thoughts and experiencing them again in my memories. More often than I should be I act as a hard person, selfish and inconsiderate. I apologize for that. On the other hand I love so much, are you like this? Do you marvel at the sunset long after its past? Do you wonder how we desire Justice when we never really attain it? Do you feel weak when you realize that you are deeply and truly loved by your friends? Are you filled with awe by your own ability to formulate thoughts, lift your hand or speak a word? Can you fill an afternoon simply wondering what that person is thinking? Praise God for the power, love, beauty, personality and never ending complexity of his creation and His promise of what is to come.
A drop from the bottle that is my mind
You Are Loved,
Luke
