"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31

Well, another year has already gone by!  And now I really can't believe it's over!  Graduating seems very, very unreal.  But it's neat to look back and see how faithful God has been!

This semester has been wonderful!  It is hard to believe that it is almost over.  I've had such great teachers, and I've enjoyed most of my homework, which has definitely been a blessing.  God is so good to give us desires and then lead us toward where He would have us, teaching us all the way!  Lately He's been reminding me to not be hard and stubborn but rather willing to learn and do everything with thanksgiving, for His glory.

I'm looking forward to the summer, getting to see family and friends in Wichita, as well as trying something very new: the internship!  I'm also looking forward to seeing what new things God will teach me, and next semester is looking exciting too.  I plan to take Probability and Statistics, Differential Equations, Investments, Band, Life of Christ, and Greek!  Hurray!

"For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ."  Romans 5:17

Yesterday I received a wonderful birthday present: Spirit Aerosystems in Wichita offered me a paid summer internship!  I am looking forward to seeing what it is like.  God's timing is perfect, and He is so faithful!  There are so many great verses on faithfulness!  Here are some of my favorites:

1 Corinthians 1:9

God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.

Revelation 19:11

[ The Rider on the White Horse ] I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war.

I have been blessed to have been able to attend a wonderful Bible study on I, II, & III John with Dr. Kelly as well.  AND, I have enjoyed extra time playing my flute and praying with a very encouraging friend.  God is so good!

Furthermore, my roommates decorated our apartment beautifully and there are beautiful pink roses and they're fixing a special supper!  They are so thoughtful!  That's another area where I am learning to trust God though.  We need a fourth person in order to stay in the apartments.  God's way is best though, and His thoughts are higher than mine!  And He is able to do exceedingly more than we can ask or imagine!  (Eph. 3:20)

I highly recommend The Nativity Story.  It's one of my favorite movies now, along with Facing the Giants.  I think these movies are so neat because they have messages with an eternal impact.  The Nativity Story made me think about how Jesus really was born- it's not just something to read about; it really happened, and they did a great job of showing what it might have been like.  It was neat to think about how Mary and Joseph must have felt and how wonderful God's plan is!

"Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever."!!!  (Revelation 7:12)

“From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder.” Rev. 4:5

“God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; He does great things beyond our understanding.”  Job 37:5  I completely agree!  How great God is!  I loved hearing the thunder on the way back from Linear Algebra and thinking about how I get to walk with the Creator of it.  And now it is rumbling behind Christmas music in our cozy apartment, which God so blessed us with.  Christmas songs have so much hope and joy!  The ultimate solution to all problems!
