So I'm in my dorm room and mostly settled. This have been good so
far with the minor point that my loft will likely collapse any day
now. My side appears to be ok, but there is a gigantic split in
one of the boards holding Lance's side up, not to mention that the wood
is bowing terribly and seems to be seperating from the cross
beams. Other than that though, things are good. I know have
a bunch of posters, Pink Floyd, Lord of the Rings, Reservoir Dogs, Lady
in the Water, Running With Scissors, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,
Beerfest, Casino Royal, The Ant Bully, The Fountain, Thank You For
Smoking and an awesome black and white poster that's got Scarface,
Goodfellas and the Godfather all combined. Our room is set up
like an office. We're getting a water cooler and some fake plants
to fill in the empty spaces.
And I just bought books. They came up to $230 which wasn't bad at
all, but one class had nothing listed for it which makes me think
something will be coming later, at least a course pack. However,
I'm thrilled because the professor I had for creative writing last year
is teaching my WRA class and he is easily the best professor I've ever
had. Well, for now, that's it. I'll give it a week and see
what else happens.

In twelve hours I will be done filming. In 98 I will be back in East Lansing. This summer seems like it has lasted so long. Maybe that's because I can't wait to get back to MSU. Now if only these next fours days would just fly by, but I guess I should enjoy them while I can. | | |

| If any one has any leftie supplies...scissors, appliances, golf clubs, hockey sticks, gloves, posters of lefties such as Lou Gerhig, Jimi Hendrix, Bruce Campbell etc...I would really, really, really like to borrow them for Sunday. I'm nearing the point of stressing out. Sunday is the biggest day of shooting we have left. At least there's no more blood, well maybe a little, but nothing that's going to fuck us over like out little blender scene did. | | |
| Pirates of the Caribbean is the best movie this year...by a long shot. Go see it if you haven't. Thank You for Smoking and Inside Man were good too. X-Men wasn't bad. Don't bother with Cars. Still need to see Superman and Praire Home Companion. Can't wait for Lady in the Water, Little Miss Sunshine and the Ant Bully(because Bruce Campbell is in it).
As for my movie, things have been going pretty well. Big shoot coming up on Sunday. I need to get around to watching the 8+ hours of footage we already have.
